Rob, like any gamblers they only shout when their winning, trading is fine but actively day trading you won’t win, like you won’t beat the house in the casino, or the bookies when doing the horses.

Noobz, I am not gloating that anyone has lost money.
But why I was having a go over BPC at Cars, PaulOz, 3300 was they orchestrated a ramp on this board, and the story was ridiculous, CarsCoffee said he had word from his ‘political connections’ that a oil ship was leaving this country to go and pick up the oil, Oz & 3300 followed by monitoring the boats passage.
And they were actively trying to get AML shareholders to ‘jump ship’, when we questioned the ‘spoof’ we got hammered & abused, not so much by CC but the others.
There is inexperienced investors on board who may have followed their advice, but from day one the story didn’t stack up, if something appears to good to be true, then it’s normally to good to be true.
Whether people like or don’t like what I say, then at least I never post something to lead someone up the garden path, they may have believed the BPC story themselves but then they should keep it to the BPC board.
The story stank from day one.

Test, I haven’t booked any profit on VIR Bio, I am waiting on the results on Feb 25, should probably have took a bit of profit by now but I’m not very good at selling & sitting on the sidelines, and think it’s got a long way to go yet.

I think a lot of people like GT4 are taking the whole thing to seriously, it’s hardly ever going to be cold hard facts on here, it’s just opinion & counter opinion.
Sometimes it gets stupid, but at times I’ve enjoyed the arguments.
He slates people and accuses them ‘of sucking each other’s chops’, charming & eloquent don’t come in to it.
On the positive side I have actually got more information on this board than from any other source, you just need to know the posters who are genuine.

CarsCoffee was organising a trip to the Bahamas to celebrate BPC discovering oil in the Bahamas, for those who couldn’t make they could go to his car pitch in England.
He says he lost a fortune on his PUT.
He used to say his political contacts had assured him there would be a massive find.
I’m not laughing at any genuine people lost money but note this, the best swing trader PaulOz has disappeared totally from LSE, the ace day trader 3300 has retired to a care home in Brighton, and CarsCoffee claims to be on a yacht in Fort Lauderdale.
These are the guys who tried to get AML shareholders to sell up and buy BPC.

It’s funny reading posts over the last say 10months, and I say this because the ones who have survived is ‘not’ the ones who have tried to make out their clever, it’s the ones who have realised they are not great daytraders, not great swing traders, not ‘massively’ into charts, the ones still here are the patient, bloody minded stubborn ones.
The ones who have disappeared are the smart arses, day traders, living by the charts, trying to call every time they bought it was at the top, everytime they sold at the very top, most have gone because they lost money, and then they moved on to a riskier share BPC and lost even more.
To all the stubborn, thickheaded ones, well done!

Can you imagine C264 phoning around a few of his acquaintances to go for a pint, ‘sorry busy m8, watching Corrie’, next one ‘think I’ll watch the paint dry m8’, his acquaintances must be ‘not listening to that crying c... going on again.

It’s the ‘group ramping’ I’m against and BPC was pushed by CarsCoffee who had millions of shares, PaulOz & 3300 launched attacks on me when I stood up against it, to coin a phrase they were encouraging AML shareholders to ‘jump ship’.
And they abused us for defending our corner, they thought AML had run out of steam at between 70-80p, and they were wrong.
As me, Rob and a few other have ‘consistently stated is that the hardest thing in this game is to hold your position and do nothing.

Rob, doubt you would get a short on BPC as it’s a AIM stock, Paul Oz came on bleating about he was 9% up on his swing trading, and he was heavily into BPC due to him being CC’s valetor, as I said at the time they bleat about their day trading when they’re winning.
Nothing beats patience & time in this game, providing your in the correct stock of course.
This is not a ramp but VIR Bio is worth keeping a eye on, trades on Nasdaq.

The ‘old crew’ won’t be happy, they led a ramping campaign up on this board trying to get Aston shareholders to switch allegiance to Bahama’s Petroleum predicting big oil finds, to the extent they were trailing the boat going out there.
Anyway the drilling failed to find anything and the price collapsed 67% yesterday, ouch.

TR, I’ve been a buyer of VIR since last June and there is no stock about in any decent size, I had a order pending for over a hour today.
There is a few reasons for that there is less than 20% in the public domain, and out of the 20% there is 30% shorted, the short squeeze is coming, on a decent announcement coupled with the short covering VIR could easily see anything up to $200.
I’m not suggesting it will hold that level but it can touch it,

I can understand shareholders think there is nothing to this ‘bid talk’, I don’t think there is neither, but a bit of speculation should be enjoyed as it helps the sp .

A friend of mine just tried to register with Trading 212 who informed him they are not opening any new accounts at present due to unprecedented demand, and with a lot of platforms crashed the other day due to overload.
I think if anyone has a large holding they would be well advised to split it across two trading platforms, or split between a app & traditional broker in case you wish to sell quickly.
The things I have mentioned above are in my opinion classic signs of a bubble forming, and this is meant as friendly advice, not ramping in any shape of form as I certainly don’t think AML is overpriced.

Doit, my point is they don’t stay in for that long, historically they tend to play a 40p swing, and my argument against day traders or swing traders tend to miss the bigger jumps(not that they’d admit it, they only tell us about victories)

I wonder if the day traders who play the 17.80-18.40 game care to admit these are the days that catch them out?
Ok they can do that trading at a higher level, but that means paying more for stock they already had.
But they only sing when their winning.
