Capital reorganisation, consolidation.29 Oct 2020 23:30
Just read through the announcement and this could be a good pointer to when we really see the share price stabilise & grow.
I’ve seen this quite often that when these share consolidation are done that the share price starts to grow, often with small oil companies they consolidate and then get taken more seriously by investors, institutional investors do ‘not’ like ‘penny shares’, as they are to volatile and hard to value.
I think AML will do a 1 for 5 consolidation, which obviously means you end up with one share for every 5 shares you held previously, so at the placing price of 50p, you would have 20% less shares but each share would be valued at £2.50p, then the shares would possibly move in 5/10/20/50p’s(hopefully £1’s), anyway don’t fear it it’s a sign that the company is targeting serious investors.
Below I’ve copied it from the announcement.
The Company is also considering carrying out a share capital reorganisation, which may involve a consolidation of shares. In this event, further details will be set out in the Combined Prospectus and Circular and announced in due course.
