Motley published a article saying the Enterprise Value was 1.66bn against the market cap of £900m.
The Enterprise Value covers everything stock, land value of factories etc, includes debt and cash in the bank.
Well on the basis of what’s been announced the Enterprise Value has leapt to certainly 2.5bn.
So as 3300 pointed out we need ‘broker notes’, advising their clients that we are now rated as hold,or buy.

Noah, he obviously knows exactly what he’s doing and where he wants the sp, I said the other week that if they were doing a deal involving shares there had to be a ‘fair value, strike price’, if the sp was grossly over inflated then it would be hard to strike a deal.
The mad thing is we ‘all’ knew exactly what was happening with the sp, it was kept in that 50p price range because that was the strike price.
My next move is I’m going to sell some, put the money into Vir Bio, and then buy back if the price suits.

They released the news after the bell yesterday, the price shot up in Germany. & America , today we are a couple of % up, out of order.

The shares in the placing went to institutions who are longer term investors, they don’t get the share till December when the resolutions are passed, but they have paid for them now as the announcement yesterday said they would pay on a ‘pro-forma basis’.
Today the company will have over £500m in the bank.

Reports on the deal with a nice big headline, ‘Mercedes set to take 20% stake in Aston Martin.

Rob that’s what I’ve been saying all along make no mistake this co was in ‘dire straits’, but has Stroll pointed out this is a complete ‘game changer’.
It says AML are going to have £500m of the money on a pro-forma basis, in other words banked straight away.
Even the dilution is phased in over a few years.

Doli, Mark, kinda expected that about the odd fellow, I’m reading someone who has gone missing had sold out expecting to be back in for the 12th, I predicted most of what happened today to the extent I thought the results would be out early, once the Bond film was cancelled there was no reason to hold back on the results.

Nevas, answered before I asked, I’m particularly happy because it’s taken the gamble out of the share, till very recently it was a gamble, now it’s a longer term investment and with MB a owner/partner, this really is as good as it gets and in the middle of a pandemic.

That wil be good news as Institutional investors don’t like it when a company has shares in the ‘penny share’ market, makes them to volatile and difficult to value for pension funds etc

Doyezee, basically announced firming up of their technological partnership with Mercedes.
Mercedes are taking a 20% stake in Aston, previously they held 5%, which I think is amazing and may lead to a full buyout.
Raised another another not sure whether it was 500m from Institutional investors.
Raised money from secured notes to pay off existing bonds etc.
That a rough giste of it.
But in layman’s terms it takes the company out of intensive care, and back on the way to a full recovery, well in better health than ever before.

Forget market cap, forget dilution, the Enterprise Value has just rocketed.
Mercedes will hold 20% eventually.
2 Institutional investors have taken stakes.
Stroll has ‘pulled a rabbit out the hat’.
The whole deal is pure genius, Mercedes shares won’t be traded on the market.
The Institutional investors shares will be a long term hold.
All the debt has gone with the new money.
We have gone from a gamble to a proper investment here.
And as 3300 will undoubtedly point out & correctly so, all the brokers will be busy putting out their notes, which will scream ‘buy’.
