The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Further to Greenfish89 post I have emailed Alba suggesting they look into the assay results released by Stella Resources back in 2012.
http://www.primorusinvestments.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Annual-Report-and-Accounts.pdf
Were these assay results in some way fabricated ?
Or are these specific areas that should be given greater attention given the results ?
Assay results were from underground grab samples taken from a wider area (400m) on the upper level from
the Clogau Formation. Thirty-one samples were taken from both partly mined and unmined sections of the
Clogau Gold Mine. The target areas include 'the Main Load ("ML"), Ned Pughes ("NP"), 'Old Chutes ("OS") and
The John Hughes ("JH") sections of the Tyn Y Cornel section the Clogau Mine.
· Assay grades as high as 749 grams/tonnes ("g/t gold") or 24 ounces/tonne ("oz/t Au") have been recorded
from unmined areas.
· 16 out of 31 samples assayed better than 31.1 g/t Au.
· 15 samples assayed better than 62.2 g/t Au.
· 10 samples assayed better than 93.3 g/t Au
??
spurs777 if JAY comes good you can visit NW Greenland if this comes good it's a trip to Vegas :-)
'Claims contain a number of untested epithermal veins and stockwork target zones - 43 widespread surface samples assayed up to 7.27 g/t Au and averaged 1.3 g/t Au'
I received an email today from TYM;
Exploration Programme - Pyramid Project:
Soil and rock chip sampling forms part of the planned exploration work for the project.
I can't help thinking we were lucky to get finance sorted just before the sh.t hit the fan..
Perhaps are luck is changing...?
HH2z fix this week would be very welcome news in a market where good news is hard to come by..
Come on Haliburton we need good news !
Worth noting that it's not just new vehicles that require CC's.
'If a vehicle’s emissions are too dirty, it will fail its MOT. In 2018, over 744,000 vehicles failed their MOT due to dangerously high emissions.' (uk figures ?)
https://bookmygarage.com/blog/catalytic-converters-long-last-cost-much/
With CC's lasting around 70k-100k there seems likely to be an increasing number of replacement CC's required as existing vehicles fail tighter emission tests.
Add in new car sales (that will also require replacement CC's in time) and we should see an ever increasing requirement for PGM's and companies like SLP should do very well.
interesting;

Perhaps Sylvania should change their name to Sylvania Palladium :-) or Sylvania PGM
Rh, Pt down a bit & Pd rising after todays dip;

The TZMI email newsletters are presumably picked up by most if not all ilmenite mining and production companies, CEO's etc.
Some of which might have an eye on TBS ? (might)
Ok so the mention was simply about the 'Felix' loan but the interesting part to me was that Alba were recognised within the sector ;-)
I receive ilmenite news emails from TZMI and todays Q4 mentions Alba (it's the first time i've seen Alba mentioned there)
https://www.tzmi.com
'I recently explained why Sylvania Platinum could be a terrific stock to buy for March. With coronavirus fears spreading and Brexit-related tension also returning, having exposure to safe-haven assets is a great way of protecting your wealth.'

With what's going on across the markets this week it hardly seems appropriate to post any opinions..
a couple of buys on nex suggest a few people think its a buy and a few sells suggest it's a sell (if that helps)
Keep your head down this week and hope the sh.t storm misses you is my advice if you were asking ;-)
Looking strong;

Blimey that Duran Duran song drags on and on.. Reminds me of HH lol
In my Casino Royal Moment analogy (posted on UKOG) Alba getting last minute funding from the Americans reminds me of Felix Leiter in the movie..Alba now have their buy in money so lets see what they can do with it..
Come on we need that Ace :-)

With plenty of cash and good PGM production SLP could not only ride out any global market recession but maybe actually benifit from it as investors spread risk across precious metal markets..
Any thoughts ?
SLP didn't have any buyers for it's PGM's lol
HH is about to go into 20 year production..
Success with HH2z will undoubtedly mean new wells drilled increasing Oil sales and Alba should be looking good.
GF might decide to sell of all the other projects or just give them up if HH comes good in the next few days !
