When debt is below 60% the government controls the bond market, when the debt is more than 100%, then the bond market controls the Government. Trump is frightened to death about bonds with 10 trillion dollars due this year, this is what all this is about in the short term. Medium term is about using tariffs so he can reduce tax on tips, overtime for his voter base, then companies and Federal tax and draw in investment into the country. At less than 3% he saves 300 billion USD. He wants inflation down, low oil prices will do that pretty quickly. He wants to stop the Ukraine/Russia war, Low oil prices below 40 USD will do that, also Saudi is increasing production to just do that. Trump wants to fill the strategic oil reserves that Biden emptied, with oil less than 40 USD he will do that. Some say he wants to buy Bitcoin, maybe, but not at 100,000 USD a coin, maybe at 5000 USD coin he might think about it. He wants higher gold prices, he's on the way to do that before revaluation. Best buy now is silver at over 103:1 Silver/Gold ratio in the short term, long term is gold, when Silver/Gold ratio hits < 30:1 then think about selling silver and buy gold, that's the best sale price of gold that you will ever get. Hi Napthman, Trump will force the price of oil to much less than 50 bucks a barrel, as he wants to refill the strategic reserves that Biden sold off, think 300 million barrels at least to keep the price of gas down to get votes. Trump will not pay a high price to do this for sure and at the same time do Russia and Iran. Russia is reducing their price by 30% to sell it to China/India and the EU at the moment, 30% of 50 dollars is not feasible, even to Russia. Trump needs low inflation to get the FED to reduce interest rates as they have to turn over 10 trillion dollars of bonds this year so he will crash the stock markets to do it. JONNO, Trump is not the one to do U Turns like our PM, he said tariffs were coming before his election, promises made promises kept. Countries are already stating zero tariffs so we wait and see. Price of oil is dropping so good for GGP energy costs. Also bad for Russia, they will go bankrupt, especially as OPEC are increasing production so i see oil less than 50 usd a barrel. Low oil price, lower inflation, lower cost for new factories setting up in America.
