As someone has pointed out to me about sp movement here. Company should know that share price sensitive news listing regulations would request them to update market now. Nothing. So authorities could step in and demand clarification.. Maybe the board are trying to keep Soriot at AZN hence no update yet?

Lidls officially open in USA. They were being showcased now on CNBC, comparing to Walmart, Kroger and WholeFoods(soonto be bought by AMZN). Some customers are saying they will not be going else where as Lidl's prices stay the same.. Lidls is trying to be like Whitemans on the EAST Coast of USA.

Hey Crystalballbroke, you commented on special dividend not being recommended. I believe they will this year as many companies are reluctant to buy due to possibility of the likelihood of the r word returning with Brexit. Manufacturing data and consumer spending reports by Visa confirm the slowdown in consumer spending since last summer. So, I would say most companies will be returning large chunks of capital in SD or paying down debt which I would prefer they do instead. I hold 5500 LGEN and 1500 SL.

Explanation: First of all Vodafone went through a consolidation on share price in 2013 when they gave back shareholders a SD from sale of Verizon stake. You say it DROP(s) to 800p, which seems to imply it drops more than once...? ? This share only ever touched 800p around September 2015 WHEN it was RISING up! FACT! November 2016 it went as low as 856p when it was going down.

Zoomist, Vodafone stock does so well, quiet easily because it's has massive capital resources worldwide and also a juicy dividend which pension funds & investors look to..
