The 3 well workovers underway will hopefully add 600+ BOPD. The acquisition that President confirmed they had submitted the tender for should get signed-off and give the SP a boost.

Both of these go to plan & maybe we could see 12p at Year End. Would still be very undervalued at 12p but that would still be a decent tick-up from here

…. weeks hmmm, maybe months.... definitely more African time keeping than Switz. I'll keep my fingers crossed it comes through one day. Till then I'll just hold and wait for the news & Godot....

Definitely. Lots of good work going on at the moment. But for current production this share is still seriously undervalued; for sure, this will come good some day.....

The msg is from Bolivia Economica asking PPC to look into coming to Bolivia. Bolivia Economica appear to be a group set-up to, "Promoting responsible cross-border trade & investment and facilitating the transparent flow of information to and from Bolivia."

Twitter?? In my day, only birds would tweet, business opportunities would be discussed at conferences, and deals made in boardrooms. Maybe there's an opportunity there, but if there is, it's very early days

Good post- agreed the decrease in operating costs is significant. Low costs per barrel, more $$ received per barrel and more barrels of oil (& gas) produced. Plus in the pipeline, current workovers underway which look on target to add another 600+ BOPD, plus 2 acquisitions lined up (Louisiana & Argentina), plus more workovers in 2019 in both Argentina & USA, plus a shot at Paraguay.

The upside for Presidents profitability is huge. Let's hope the SP upside is huge too....

Interesting to do a Q3 update. Guess the rationale for it was the market had not properly noticed the good results that PPC have achieved so far. Smart move to release the RNS. Very positive RNS. Happy with that.

I saw the headline and though "oh no".... but actual amount is tiny (compared to overall shares in issue) so shouldn't have any impact on the SP. *breathes sigh of relief*

This share still cheap as chips. Hopefully will change soon....

Encouraging RNS. Be good once all 3 wells are done and flow rates are confirmed. 600 BOPD is significant. Fingers crossed it could be even more....

Happily surprised to see an acquisition in the USA. Happy to read that it is low risk. And happy to read that the purchase and drilling will be self-funded by existing cash flows.

Work to commence in Louisiana in Q2 2019, it could be an exciting I.e. prosperous year with workovers and exploratory drilling in the US, Argentina & Paraguay.

That's good news, sounds like the acquisition will go ahead. Despite all the excellent progress this year, it feels like PPC need another acquisition to kick start the SP....

Ps. 2018 1/2 years results. 275% Production increase. Costs per barrel of oil reduced by 50%. $ received per barrel big increase and...... SP is still stuck at 9p.

This kinda thing makes me thing I might as well give up investing and take my money to the casino instead. Seriously undervalued at the moment. More workovers/acquisitions should all help, but it's Paraguay or bust for that multi bagger probably.

Paraguay IS a punt that PPC WILL take next year. That has already been confirmed to the Paraguayan President. At the investors event back at beginning of Sept, I spoke with PL about this, and he said to me that the Paraguayan drills in 2014 were a long way away from where the proposed 2019 drill will be.

The 2019 drill will be just over the border from the Argentinian fields I.e. in the same basin, and the geology there is very different to the 2014 Paraguay drilling campaign. the rocks are either millions of years older or younger (I had a drink, I forget which) but the point was that the rock type will be much easier to drill and therefore it will be much more likely to have oil that is commercial.

Worth a punt- 100%. Punt is planned 2nd half of 2019.

I thought that if you owned 30% of the shares then you were obliged to make a mandatory take-over offer, which is why PL remains holding 29.9999% of the shares.

Agreed a minimum t/o price would be 20p-30p, and actually I would hope it would be much higher because of the potential that PPC has lined up to realise over the next 18 months.

Actually to be fair, VOG contract news due next Thursday (according to posters on that board) and PPC 1/2 year results due by next Friday. So really should be much healthier looking share prices by next Friday 28th September....

Y/E 2016, BOPD was 500, now it's 2700 BOPD. There's more Gas that PPC have available, acquisitions in the pipeline, and workovers/drilling now at PF. And the SP goes to 9p. It's a (bad) joke.

Paraguay next year might strike it lucky and take the SP to however many pounds worth. But pretty sure I typed that same sentence 4-5 years ago now. D'oh! Surely though this is the bottom and it's due a re-rate soon and lots more incremental increases, but..... jeez, I hope the SP gets going soon...

How many eggs are people willing to put into this basket??? - Well for me, this is my main investment. Provided there's not a big drop in oil price (which seems improbable) I think that the SP has bottomed out.

Lots of irons in the fire, which should see the SP steadily tick up over the next 12 months. The SP is not where I want it to be, but am confident in a significant rise as some point. How much, and when? Who knows....?

Ps. the three development well drilling programme at the Puesto Flores has commenced now, the cost of the wells will be paid out of cash flow. The wells all target proven undeveloped reserves, are designated in planned order of drilling PFO 1001, PFE 1001 and PFO 1005 and are aimed at increasing gross field production by 600 bopd in aggregate on the base case.

Each well is planned to be vertical with a depth of between 2,300 and 2,700 meters. Once drilled, the wells will be completed with a workover rig. It is expected the wells will deliver a rapid payback and it is currently projected that all three wells should be completed and on stream by the end of this year.

Base case = 600 BOPD. That will help the SP too.
