NorthernM, AParky- Agree very much with your comments and hope they are right. Successful workovers, acquisition in time for the half-year results and a subsequent re-rating would be very nice indeed.

Exploration hey? hmmmm.... methinks President have enough of that already in Paraguay, and they would be better off buying a known producing resource in Argentina. But if the price is right, maybe it'll be too tempting to turn down.....?

The con/f call reassured me. Positivity about current workovers I take to mean as x amount of extra BOPD to come to Production soon (expecting an RNS on this prob beginning of July). And talking about possible acquisition in Argentina adding 4000 or even 10,000 BOPD. Acquisition hasn't happened yet this year, but the PF one last year transformed/saved this company, so another one could/should have a similar positive effect. I'll probably go to the AGM in 3 weeks time, although not sure what else there is at the moment to find out about. Any other LSE posters going?

Investors Chronicle has now upgraded PPC to 'Buy' (it was rated as 'Sell' a couple months back). Peter Levine is optimistic; "Our roadmap is clear, concentrating on cash flow, profits and margins and we look forward to 2018 with well-founded optimism as the Group goes from strength to strength� And Malcolm Graham-Wood continues his support; "Growth that the company is able to evidence is clearly visible and that both Puesto Flores and Estancia Vieja are going to be highly profitable investments. The bringing to the fore of these parts of the portfolio has meant that others such as Puesto Guardian and the Paraguay prospect have been temporarily usurped but I am led to believe that they are very much part of the PPC plan. This growth from the new projects is not just for highly professional operational reasons, where costs are down and production is beating forecasts, but across the board there is a continuing attack on an already low cost base. This means that the concentration on cash flow, profits and margins bode well for the future and I for one cannot understand why the share price isn�t significantly higher." There's lots of potential upside, but the reason that I am happy investing in President is that I think the company is undervalued for what it actually produces at the moment. 16-18p would be a true fair SP by my calcs. But unfortunately it's the Market that sets the SP not me, so I'll keep holding & hoping.... GLA

Maybe buying is because 9.2p is seriously undervalued. Lowest price for a long time. Also, there should be some proper big buying when PPC announce the results of the current well workover programme. PL sounded very confident about it on the call yesterday. Mention of 3000+ BOPD. Current rate is 2400, so to get to 3000 would be a 25% increase in production.

**Deliberately has not given any updates 'on the workovers' that are currently underway. (omitted the key word there in my last post). I feel much happier after the call. Results of the 7 well workover programme will take production to 3000+. Next week the gas comes online. Acquisition will add a very minimum of 1000 BOPD (even though I would have been happier if the news was that PPC were taking the riskier option of purchasing the 10,000+BOPD production field). Then there's the 3 well drilling campaign in Sept. Profits up, all this work is self-financing. This will look a very different share by the end of the year, if not by the end of the summer....

Interesting call with PL just now. I made a few notes, so will share what I thought were some of the key points. *Deliberately has not given any updates that are currently underway. They are going well and have significant potential. *Gas sells (+ small amount of oil) will start next week from EV. This will be profitable. (Gas anywhere between 1M-3M a well, no less than 10 bcf expected). *Paraguay- PL apologised for getting "by hook or by crook in 2018" wrong. He said this is because resources have been concentrating on PF. PL also confirmed that he has made the incoming Paraguay President a promise that PPC will drill a new well there in 2019. This well will be a farm-out or if no partner for that then PPC have funds in reserve to drill alone. Further Acquisitions: Only looking in Argentina. Next acquisition will definitely add at least 1000 BOPD into Production. They have been working on acquisitions so far this year and had one lined up to add 4000 BOPD, and 1 lined up to add 10,000 BOPD but both of these were eventually ruled out as they were considered "too risky".

the RNS of full year results confirms that; 1- Overheads are decreasing, 2- Production and profitability are increasing, "Group turnover in 2018 on course to triple year on year" 3- There is more to come to increase the production/profits exponentially (workovers/drilling/farmouts) If the SP had risen 3 or 4 pence on this RNS, I would be arguing it's all fantastic news, and be super happy with these results and current status. Reading the RNS, it is pretty good, maybe people will take some time to analyse it and then start buying then the SP can go up. Maybe.....

2016: 533 bopd, 2017 increased by 110% to 1,121bopd, now group Production is at 2400 bopd. And more potential to increase more. In one way, that's a very impressive story, but yet, PG was supposed to add 1200 itself, and instead now adds 'only' 500. So increased flows yes, but not as much as I had hoped, and also with share dilution in the time period. Still, "The Company will continue to seek the right acquisition to complement its existing portfolio" and is looking for farm-outs in both Paraguay and Argentina, so we may yet see news on that....

+Dividends. That was another thing that was mentioned at the end of last year that we haven't heard any more about. If PPC start paying Dividends then that will attract Institutional Investors, and that will bump up the SP. It might happen. But no news on that front at the moment.....

Value add: Current workovers, PF Workovers scheduled for Q3, Acquisition in Argentina, Pumps at PG getting installed, Paraguay drilling (prob with farmout partner). Any/All of those should add more BOPD into Production and thus increase the SP. Plus listing in Argentina in July will increase demand so that should hopefully add a bit to the SP. (Conspiracy theory- maybe PL is saving all the good news for then so his Argentina friends in high places can buy shares on the cheap before big SP increases). A lack of posters on this board probably does reflect a lack of interest in this company, and that lack of interest is (I suspect) that although PPC has a number of irons in the fire that should increase SP, we haven't heard enough updates on them, and as such it seems like not a lot is going on. I hold. I wait. There's a lot of potential, but really needs to see potential being realised soon....

feels like it might be a shorter wait than waiting for this SP to rise!!! It was a positive RNS. There have already been positive workovers this year, oil flows increased new gas flows found. Debt coming down. Dollar revenues increasing. AGM in June, and the final year accounting statement to come before that. The May workovers have already commenced so probably the Final Year statement can include updates inc. flow rates from the first 1 or 2 wells that are being worked over now. Flows there would be a good indication of what we can expect for the other wells. Good news, and maybe then the SP will go North...

What's changed / stayed the same; Argentinian workovers- Production will be increased, PF, EV. Same as planned/plans slightly expanded + Paraguay- No news (still the same haha!) Poss acquisition in Argentina- when PL was doing all those interviews in the Autumn, I thought it sounded like an acquisition was close. It hasn't happened yet. I hope it does but who knows.... Oil Price- Gone up up + Argentine macro situation- Inflations not good but at least Macri is handling it, and is in favour of free markets and wants to bring in more foreign investment and increases on-shore oil reserves. It could be worse he could be a loopy lefty like other SA presidents or even worse as mad as Corbyn. then then the economy would be mess. Successful workovers should/could increase BOPD by 1/3 and that should increase the SP accordingly. Floating in Argentina Market should increase demand so might bump the SP by a penny or so in July. Acquisition in Argentina, or a successful farm-out in Paraguay are the 2 things that could have a BIG impact on the SP. I think 12-14p SP by end of the year guaranteed (if PPC deliver what they have stated they will do this year). Arg Acquistion & Paraguay farm-out are the unknowns. This could be PPC's year, but hey ho, I've been saying that for a few years now........

That's probably circa 1000 BOPD, so an additional 33% production increase on current levels. (Assuming aprox 3000 BOPD are produced atm, the Production update at start of June should confirm actual figures). Good news about the Argentinian macro economic situation. Oil is in dollars not pesos, so no negative impact. Solid if not spectacular RNS. Work continues, more wells coming online, BOPD output will be increased, but guess only real impact on the SP after workovers completely successfully and oil flows increased. Keep on holding...

and still PPC at 10p. Operations Updates required. Successful workovers in PF. Get the pumps going to maximise PG. And Paraguay "by hook or by crook". With Oil back at these prices, this is the time for some good news. C'mon President, remember 10 years back when oil was this high and Gulf Keystone, Rockhopper, Imperil, Chariot, all went from penny to lots of pound shares. Maybe the cycle is coming round again. Maybe PPC can come very good. But pls, give us an update and the SP a tick up....
