Shares to be admitted to the Exchange on 21st Nov. Be glad once the placing is done. Was fun watching the SP rise before the placing news. Hopefully get it out of the way, get a few more positive RNS's and watch the SP go on it's next leg up.....

Sorry mixed terminology there from me. The Placing Shares were admitted to the market yesterday, 26th October. $8.75 million placing of 66,656,510 new Ordinary Shares. The Open Offer shares that we will have the chance to take up- still waiting for details of that.... After seeing the Placing conducted so quickly, I am surprised that the Open Offer is taking longer. Still, bit more admin involved to sort out I guess.

Checked the Operational HY Statement which confirmed that PPC was getting $47 per barrel before in Louisiana so a $10 increase on that is a big % step up. @ $57 dollars a barrel. Louisiana should have a turnover of over half a million USD for Nov. (300 BOPD * $57 a barrel * 30 days in Nov = $513,000). Not bad at all. Ps. Today the new 66.6M Offer Shares got admitted to trading and the SP held up well.

That is good news. Was it $50 PPC were getting per barrel before? If so, that's an uptick of 14%, and all of it is profit. And the mo money PPC have, the less likely they will have to do any more share placings.

Also- the macro-economic situation in Paraguay is favourable. Paraguay currently does not produce any oil. The amount of proven BOE equivalent there is enough to not only supply all of Paraguay's needs but to turn them into a net exporter. (currently Paraguay uses aprox 35,000 BOPD). There is already a refinery in Paraguay, the Villa Elisa. This has been moth-balled, so could be re-started if a suitably large source of in-country oil could be produced. There is a lot to play for. The oil is there. Paraguay wants it, and has the capacity to refine it. Question is, how well will it flow, and can PPC get it out of the ground without screwing things up. Imagine if it all came together.... it could... it might....the impact on the SP.... it would go through the roof....cue Topol singing!!!! ;-) GLA.

I think Argentina has 25 Million BOE. (Plus more from the new EV Concession). In Paraguay, there are 4 concessions; Pirity, Hernandarias, Don Quijote & Pilcomayo Pirity (Jacaranda & Lapacho) had 500 Million BOE proven, but back in 2014 PPC couldn't get it out. Of this proven BOE, 50 Million was classified as "ready to drill" with an initial development of 5000-10,000 BOPD with a topping plant servicing local markets. Hernandarias, Don Quijote & Pilcomayo - PPC have identified 23 leads giving a total combined estimated unrisked resource of 3 Billion BOE. I understand that PPC are looking to go back to Lapacho in Pirity & also go back to Hernandarias. Both of these programs are estimated to cost about $10M per well. Commercial oil in Paraguay would be transformational. no diggity, no diggi-doubt.

What have the Mexicans gotta do with this? ;-) 1200- was the aim. The oil is there. It flows. PPC have proven the Oil flows from each well individually, but just haven't been able to do them all at the same time because they ran out of pipes! Surely, it will be an easy job just to fit an extra bit of plumbing in & achieve the 1200.

I don't think any news should be given until after the Open Offer shares have gone to Market, and that'll probably take a couple more weeks. My reasons for this is that the impact of good news now would be less if the Open Offer shares are yet to come into play. Newswise we know that: 1) "Majors signed up to NDA's" & "Majors in our physical data room as well as in our virtual data room" 2) "One way or another, by hook or by crook, we're going to drill something in Paraguay in 2018." 3) Chinese pumps should be working in PG soon & bring that up to 1200 BOPD. Three chances then. Confirmation of workover success in existing Argentinian wells, new Argentinian acquisitions, and Paraguay potential. Paraguay maybe not till next year, but I am expecting good news on both those Argentinian plays this year.

RNS released confirming Two Operation Managers (Jordan Coleman, and Scott Daspit) have purchased Shares in the Placing. Not that I know anything about either of them, but as a principle, the more managers & staff have skin in the game, the better. Just waiting now to see what the Open Offer is to us normal Shareholders. 1/20, 1/15. Either way, I'll be taking my full allocation, even if it means having to sell up a few shares elsewhere to free up the cash.

Buy/Sell is just a calculated field based on the Bid/Ask price at the time so is not 100% accurate. Eg. If the Bid/Ask is 10.5/11p everything <10.75 is classified as a Sell, and everything over it is classed a Buy.

Looking good. Good support. very interesting as a SP usually drifts to just below a placing price. 2,500,000 shares bought this morning at the SOD. (I can confirm that wasn't me topping up!) Still, must mean someone is confident.

Over 1 million shares gone through as Buys. There was quite a few days this summer when PPC didn't even have one trade. Volumes are definitely picking up. Which is nice.

There is something in the water in the square mile as during his roadshow Peter Levine has run into people seemingly very keen to invest in the company and I can�t blame them. Today PPC launch a �6.1m raise at 10p and a �5m open offer, also at 10p which given my recent published views on the company�s prospects also looks very attractive. Peter Levine�s vehicle is not adding at this stage as the panel would have required a mandatory bid for the company but his vehicle, PLLG will convert debt to a level of a 29.9% equity holding which will reduce the company�s costs and strengthen the balance sheet. The raise will give PPC further opportunities to buy more production and likely accelerate the existing work programme in Argentina. With the continent so full of opportunities and many companies looking to invest in the area, PPC has achieved a valuable early mover status and should be rewarded for it. The recent share price movement is only the start of a fully blown re-rating for the company.

when the 2nd RNS confirmed that, PPC, "is pleased to announce that it has issued 66,656,510 new ordinary shares..... The Placing has raised $8.75 million." All 66.6M shares taken up before lunch. I'm disappointed about the dilution. Optimistic that the funds will be used well to grow the company. And, I'm impressed that they sold all the shares so quickly. Maybe we'll see some Holding RNS's from Schroders, IFC and JPM in due course.

The Neuquen Basin license cost US$15m. I think (hope) that this fund raising is for money for a new acquisition.

Is what PLLG Investments Ltd wants to get down to, as if it's over 30% the RNS reads like it will have to make a mandatory offer to take-over the company. The bit I don't get about that is that PLLG Investments Ltd currently own 31.9% of the Share Capital so if a takeover bid is mandatory at 30% threshold, why hasn't he had to make it before?

Large Shareholders hold 73.4% of the Shares according to the figures on the PPC website. PLLG Investments Ltd 31.9% Schroders Investment Management 12.1% International Finance Corporation 11.7% Michinoko Limited 8.9% JP Morgan Asset Management Holdings Inc 8.8% Currently there are 953,597,617 Shares in Issue meaning we have about 250M shares to play about with and buy & sell ourselves. Soon to be about 350M shares.

The shares are sold in GBP anyway. Not sure why they would want to split it between USD & EUR. $8M + �5M = �10M (aprox) = 100,000,000 new shares in issue. Guess that means the rise has stopped, and we'll see PPC staying stable around the 10p mark for a while. Well, it was fun while it lasted.
