The GEO Juno project has the potential to be similar in scale to the Havieron project based on geophysical modeling, though its success is not yet confirmed, as it is only in the initial stages of drilling.
GEO Exploration has benchmarked Juno against Havieron, with modelling suggesting its geophysical anomaly is several times larger than Havieron's, and drilling is currently underway to test the target.
Similarities in target:
Both projects are targeting intrusion-related gold systems (IRGS), and the geophysical data at Juno, including gravity and magnetic anomalies, is consistent with the type of mineralisation found at Havieron. Potential for a larger system: According to the company's modeling, the geophysical anomaly at Juno could be four to five times the scale of Havieron's, suggesting a much larger potential mineralised system.
Current status:
The Juno project is in the very early stages of exploration. The first drill hole began in September 2025, with drilling planned to test a 4km by 2km geophysical anomaly. Uncertain outcome: Despite the promising indicators, the potential is not yet guaranteed. The outcome depends on the results of the ongoing drilling program, which is designed to test if the geophysical anomalies are indeed mineralized.
