Pete.. Condensate? You are the first to mention the possibility so obviously nobody has gotten excited at the prospect though it would be very welcome. We can only await the analysis as I have been saying since the RNS last week.
Edgar No I agree it was not said to be water so could be anything. BTW you are bang on over the circular. I am now on my second read through and finding some really interesting stuff in there. Our Bod have included some really interesting protections in there for us. Doesn't strike me as an incompetent Bod in the slightest. Feeling very confident myself and looking forward to what I expect to be a regular news flow over the coming weeks and months.
1. Reassurance has been given extension licence should be granted prior to the long stop position allowing farm-out completion. (I feel it will come quite quickly after the shareholder ratification at the EGM) 2. Farm-out agreement stipulates CH-1 drill must be spudded as soon as reasonably practical after completion. 3. The rig and team is now selected (effectively should be ready to move on completion with only the weather dictating the actual spud date)
You are correct it does say fluid column but as Pete says at the AGM Jay did indeed mention water and foam as a possibility to remove it.
Possible solutions to this problem include the installation of a velocity string, a capillary string injecting foamers (often with corrosive effects on surface wellhead seals), or a pump to continuously or intermittently pump the water to the surface to remove the hydrostatic barrier that the water creates. A common practice is to use a device called a plunger to lift the liquids. Improved electrical pumps coming onto the market may enhance the effectiveness of the technology.
As for a previous expert opinion that "Blowdown" affects whether a well recharges or not! The following from Schlumberger suggests that theory was nonsense.
Blowdown - Meaning... "To vent gas from a well or production system. Wells that have been shut in for a period frequently develop a gas cap caused by gas percolating through the fluid column in the wellbore. It is often desirable to remove or vent the free gas before starting well intervention work."
Moving on... As they had to change the valve I can only assume this venting (blowdown) would have taken place to enable the work to be done. The gas at surface (again I can only assume) would then be reported as what has come to the surface following the repair. Which I feel adds credence to the quote from August where it was stated that the well had recharged.
The fluid column now baffles me a bit but as above there are remedies and as per RNS they are currently analysing the data before taking the next step.
Offloading now? All your experience? Surely that's admitting to being a bit of a turnip over the last few months. You've been calling this down all the way from .6 so why only now does your experience tell you to get out?
Are you still trading it as you admitted back then when you were at the pump dump pump game. Sorry, seen your views flip enough times to take no notice!
I got out a while ago in the .3s with a loss but I'll be back when the action begins. The assets here are still strong, I just put my money to work elswhere while we are in limbo here.
7 to 8 did seem to be the consensus of the noise coming out - The 30 was only something I picked up on as a potential if we perforated - That coming from the solo meeting the other week so we can only look forward and hope for good results.
TBH I'd be extremely happy to get back to around 15 anything else would be a bonus.
Oh there's another acceptable description for the list "Compartment" but in answer to the original question No! we are currently awaiting the completed remediation results. If successful I would guess before the farm-out is completed and early in the new year but it's just a guess as good as anyone else's
Morning GL our Caravanserai has been tetchy for a fair while I'm afraid but Caravanserai an also album that marked a turning point in Carlos Santana's career. Let us hope that turning point is around the corner here.
Without doubt some good news from Kilwani would be an excellent Christmas present if the postman can make it in time
cperkin I agree I don't think anyone has suggested it has been fully successful and you are right only the first stage has been completed and testing is underway at the moment as we understand but there have been some who have stated it is a failure and in me saying those assumptions should not be made to be fair I also have to say the other way around too.
Yes I am confident Pete but accept there is still a risk. My reading of the wording gives me that confidence that I have held throughout. I had a few days of no opinion whilst I read the document but my opinion of strong buy is not a recommendation but one of my own opinion and I have backed my opinion all the way down buying whenever funds were available.
I understand your point over people with splinters in their backside :0)) because when it goes there will still be plenty of upside to go at imo so yes it can be a premium worth paying.
I'd love to spend my time here discussing risks, technical issues and potentials but there is just so much flat out stock bashing by the Janet & John's here that it makes a sensible conversation almost impossible. As you can see from the need to help with the coat.
So the obnoxious funnyhead still attacks me for saying exactly the same as him. You couldn't make it up. Confirms the blind assumptions the Janet & John's make here.
Pete just a further thought on your response and I'm not trying to second guess here but you talk of the fog of delayed expectations and though I agree we have been let down here at times I find the extreme negativity on this bb is geared to fog the reality and make people forget that we are in a positive position despite the issues we have faced.
Strongman with him making the following statement
"The repetitiveness is astounding.."
When saying the following twice in the last twenty minutes and at least a dozen times yesterday
"so that he can raise 5mill + more cash"
I think you are right. I'm sure I've met his twin brother.
VDave From a timing and expense point of view would it not be better to wirelog at the second level with the targets only four days apart?
I wouldn't suggest they are doing but it is a thought, I agree
I disagree CP assuming we have a fully successful remediation is as bad and as assuming it's failed.
All we know is there is gas at surface ands tests are underway.
Discussing what ifs and maybes is an awful lot different to people making statements one way or the other. We have no way of knowing at this point
Yes they have Seance and thanks for your input and explanation so it can be little or large. Now as I said all along we have to wait for the testing before we have the answer and assumptions should not be made
I haven't got an opinion other than to state logic says the chamber has recharged. As I said how far, how much and what flow rates will come is what we are waiting for but for people to right it off as huff n puff or a fart is a nonsense.
But rather than ask me Mather might I ask you to speak to the ones who talk the wild nonsense without waiting to hear the test results. At least I am honest about my logic theory is it too much to expect the same from others?
Logic tells me that if the chamber were empty then there would be no gas at surface and if it were as described on here by two as huff n puff or fart then I very much doubt it would be reported as gas at surface. I do really think our engineers know the difference.
So my reading is gas at surface means chamber recharged. What that means in terms of flow rate and viability we have to wait and see. If they feel the need to reperforate then so they will and they still have time to complete that before year end if allowed to do so.
If not we have to wait until permission is given, its no big deal, it's the way it's done and permission s are required whatever country you are working in.
Well I'm keen to see a positive outcome as much as anyone but I can't believe James has anwered so many personal emails in one day. There have been far too many to make them believable but good luck for morning news
He did strongman and what happened? They shorted it down to half its value not helped by the waiting for action. Needs banning here too imo. Many good stocks being destroyed without good cause in many cases.
Whats the Cos at Dhenji? I see everything is running very late over at AAOG. Drill pad all but collapsed. New pad, then rig break down now mud blockage issue and according to some two weeks behind from hitting first target.
Strange I haven't seen one whingy complaint on there from you all day. Pathetic! Bet yours was at least 10p wasn't it? You've been in there a while
Not gloating mate, I have a small interest there too but where the consistency?
