Question. Is the fluid a result of water invasion at all? Or is it because of liquid loading? Water invasion sounds terminal to me and if that was the case then I think they would have abandoned the well by now. I'm not an expert but they seem to be two entirely different things. We haven't been told specifically but we were told following the shut in that it occurred during that period. From what I've read in the past liquid loading takes place due to gas pressures not being strong enough to lift the microscopic globules of fluid and so they fall to bottom and can fill the well blocking off gas flows. It's complicated to understand but it seems it could be both the cause of the initial problems, as a result of the shut ins, or a combination of both. To remove it, the method they are attempting first as I understand is foaming "Abstract Foam is used to remove liquid loading up in gas well and increase gas production. The experimental methods were developed to stimulate the foam deliquification process. Effects of temperature, hydrocarbon, brine and particle on foam were studied. Foam height was reduced with increasing temperature, presence of hydrocarbon, brine, particles and demulsifier. I still don't see what allowance you are making for the very much increased value of any additional % of the field we may receive from this?

Bunker I've not done your sums but 30% was to wipe out their debt to the company. David was rubbing his hands at that preferred option because that 30% will be worth way way in excess of $10m How about putting a figure on that?

Aminex is currently funded and does not need further approval for the ongoing remedial work over Kiliwani (which includes well maintenance, fluid lifting and perforation) and it remains in the best interest of all parties to produce gas as quickly as possible.

What is the latest on a licence extension on Mtwara?
The Company has been assured by relevant government authorities that the extension is forthcoming and will update the markets once formalised.

Ahem! Before the sarcasm gets too carried away with itself. I have never said any different to what I have this morning and I personally very much always have understood the situation as to the risk. I take onboard all comments (bar the blatant provocation and destructive motives of some) and the rationale behind them but I've just not agreed with them all. In my view, it is only the delay that has pushed the sp down over the last year with people trading and taking advantage and nothing else. It is that delay that has proved the doubters and the manipulators to be right but the fundamentals here are sound and people will soon be calling a different tune.

However it seems two here today have forgotten already, that they were the are ones that shouted we had no funding for KW and the we hadn't even got the permission to go ahead with it with one of them changing tack to make out testing is an issue! I just have to laugh at that tbh coming from a supposedly industry man.

Anyway I am investor here and I expect to make money on every penny I've put in. I've bought in here at .0099 all the way up to .067 and all the way back down to .0145 and I've put my money where my mouth is. If everything had gone to plan I would be rolling in clover already. If hindsight was a given, I would have handled it differently and pulled sitting on dry powder but then could equally have been tempted to go elswhere and lose money on a total duffer. So sticking with it was my choice. I feel I made the right decision for me and I expect I will be proved right in the coming months.

A few points there Mather
My predictions are just a guess based on what I see, hear and read. They are as good or as bad as anyone else's and my guess for last week was based on a rumoured meeting. I said if it doesn't come I would move that back to last week of Feb and the reason for that is previous meetings I had heard of had taken place around 20th of the month. Don't bank on it! Additionally if there is further paperwork completion to be done by end of March I would think we would need to see it by early March. Saying that I would think also that paperwork may be pre-prepared so I still won't panic until around third week of March.

The problem with KW as I understand it, is that they have to drain the fluids before the perf gun can be lowered and this part in my view would be an unknown quantity time wise. The proposed soaking up is not the only option but is the one they are trying first. I don't feel it being held up strategically is the case because the funds are tight as we all know and as Jay has said many times, it is in all parties interests to get the gas flowing again. As for being paid. There is no reason to suspect not to be as the amount withheld at this point in time already surpasses the amount of the claim so that in my view would be boxed off until agreement is reached on the issue.

Finally as say you we just need the licence and everything above will become irrelevant :0))

Mather No sorry not inferring you were it was just a point I was making. As for dates, there can never be guarantees in business but I'm not one for crying over spilt milk and especially when it wouldn't be in danger of being spilt for another two months. I'd be a bag of nerves living like that and I reckon investing under that pressure would not to be recommended by the doctor

Mather, how long is a piece of string? I take my views and adjust them based on latest news. Past news is dead and buried. Reports from the EGM have since been superceded by the company in writing. We have two months before the deal has to be completed and everybody posting here knows that. Why the sudden panic by some? Perhaps some looking to rinse again after our tick up yesterday? Licence can still come at any time or any day. Risky game trading this now imo

Might I suggest you open your eyes and read instead of spreading doom about your untrue view of lack of PR recently There was an EGM just four weeks ago where you could have attending and asked questions. As BG shows in the last couple of weeks they have added assurances about Work in progress, Funding and the Licence in the question and answers section on the website. Would you like to know which paragraph in the agreement they are up to today? or maybe how many sugars they have in their tea? I honestly don't know what you want to know other than it seems you want everything to be done and completed to your own personal time scale.

Whoops waiting Mather is all that is required. As for the permissions bit, it is a fact there are no permissions required to do the work and I myself explained the situation over the testing and connection where only a fool would believe you could connect to a countries main supply lines with cooperation. I think somebody is trying to make an issue out of basic health and safety permissions that would be required throughout the world. It really would not be an issue other than agreeing the date and time to conduct that testing. If they didn't want it to happen they wouldn't have allowed the previous round of testing so to suggest it to be an issue is just plain wrong. It is not an issue at all. When and if successful the work is completed, they will do the testing, it's that simple
