If the licence were to be given direct to APT what would that imply?

To me it would confirm my thoughts on the EGM delays and approval for the farm-out may have been a requirement. If it wasn't then it would be given to the current holder which is Aminex. Against that is the fact it is an extension which implies it will be given to the original holder as was applied for.

Anyway Speculation so I'll leave it at that. Not worth Aggro because it makes no difference now :0))

I personally wouldn't wait to log. If I had hit the black stuff I would announce immediately informing logging is currently taking place.

That to me would set the sp on a roll with assumed more good news to follow when the numbers come in to kick it on further.

As you know I agree that with BG that the licence was the reason for delay of the EGM but tbh that's all irrelevant now and pointless to keep going over it because we all have our own views and none of us know the reality.

In saying that, I also agree with the view that the president is a man in ultimate control of when things happen. He has had an awful lot of corruption to deal with and he strikes me as a genuine bloke. The problem with his stance of sorting out those internal problems & what seems obvious corruption by some companies operating there is that it has delayed important things the country needs to move on with.

The light at the end of the tunnel for me is firstly the assurance that the licence is coming, secondly, that the schedule for works (assuming the farm-out goes ahead as planned by the end of March) would allow just enough time for us to get gas to market in time for the point when demand outstrips supply as they forecasted themselves, but thirdly, perhaps equally significant as Gas lady says is the election being next year.

What better time to bring power & future wealth security to the country than in the run up to an election?

I know everyone here has had enough of the word patience but that's simply what it boils down to in my view.

Are additional approvals needed for remedial work on Kiliwani? Aminex is currently funded and does not need further approval for the ongoing remedial work over Kiliwani (which includes well maintenance, fluid lifting and perforation) and it remains in the best interest of all parties to produce gas as quickly as possible. What is the latest on a licence extension on Mtwara? The Company has been assured by relevant government authorities that the extension is forthcoming and will update the markets once formalised. Are you fully funded for CH-1? The farmout fully carries Aminex through multiple wells (including CH-1), seismic and infrastructure. As well as the $3MM payable on Completion and the $2MM 180 days thereafter, the Company will be able to back charge operational activity on Ruvuma to 15 March 2018 (effective date of the farmout).

I'm amused! I also think a certain JayB cannot control a government but never mind, a classic Sunday night bash is the same from any direction. It is undesirable from whoever it comes!
