Perhaps wrongly I assumed you were aware of those rumours as I understand you were of one this last week. If not apologies but it is my understanding meetings did take place on more than one occasion where the licence was expected to be received. If you were unaware of this then at least perhaps you will see why I come at it from the angle I do. Again doesn't change where we are but I'd just like you to understand where my thoughts are coming from.

Add this to the meetings you said took place plus how quickly after the EGM we were given assurance from government the licence is to come and I would have thought you could see a potential link here even if you still disagreed and hold your own opinion. I and others may be wrong thinking this way but this was my logic and I feel feasible explanation for the delay.

I'd like that but where is the alternative view? I'm still waiting for your own personal view of it!

You yourself were one of the chief protagonists telling everyone we were being held to ransom by the government and your view on this now turns those previous views totally on their head. You are right I have supported the fact that it has been a long and difficult process and was ridiculed daily for doing so by you and many others. At no stage did I ever say that the government were not holding up the process! My position was in defending the bod working in difficult circumstances to bring us what we need when there was clearly some good reason why they were missing their own targets that they put on themselves. Do you or others seriously think they would want to make themselves look foolish on purpose.

I don't think anybody would want to do that and that is one reason I use to justify my thoughts that they were having to wait for something or some issues with the governments position. I don't nor never did believe your theory of being held to ransom deliberately to dry up our cash but there clearly was something that delayed the situation 4 months.

It is speculative on all side as to the real reasons so whether you agree with my thoughts is irrelevant I already know you don't, however in asking the question last night, I am simply trying to establish what you or others feel the reason is for them sitting and doing nothing since July. Please give me a different opinion to think about rather that just rubbishing everybody else's.

I'm not getting into silly arguements I'm asking for an explanation. You Pete are very antagonist towards anyone having a view or a thought so why not you please just put forward your own alternative reason for why they sat back and took those bullets?

Woody I would understand if he were saying I was close to winning the lottery because next door won the last one because that is purely random. In a drilling case we are dealing with geology and having a successful neighbor surely heightens the chance of achieving success. It's no coincidence that companies drilling are grouped in the same regions. When I invest, I invest for the potential profits it can bring me if successful. If someone provides information that adds to my big research picture then I can decide for myself between fact and fiction and so their input is welcome. In the same context if those who can provide negative information that is useful, I'll sort again the fact from fiction. Dyor. Trust nobody but yourself.

Late night question. We were told originally that it was expected to hold an EGM in September which didn't materialise and was forever put back without reason given for which the bod took an extreme amount of Shyte from many on here. So if the EGM has no effect on this licence why would the bod have, as some would say, sat on their backside taking all this flak, if there was no reason not to go ahead with the meeting in the first place? Simple logic tells me they were having to wait for something and the mere fact it's announced in days after the EGM that the licence is assured is a bloody big clue what they were waiting for. If that is not the case, would somebody like to provide a good reason why they would sit back and take the bullets? It will come as soon as it's ready. Monday maybe who knows?

Playing one against the other imo is what the Orca deal is all about. Monthly renewable? Six months max? Tells me they have an alternative in the pipeline because demand is growing and unlikely to stop. Who else can fulfill that growing need? Only orca within limits and ourselves as others would be a long way off. I find that encouraging.

It was mentioned by someone on here and I had seen it on Twitter. I only said last week that I brought my guessed date forward from the last week of the month to this week because of it. The RNS has not arrived this week so perhaps it is just afterall another rumour, you know what they're like. Just look at aaog its full of it from all angles.

As I said I was led to believe some people on here were aware of it but I have know way of knowing if that is true

And that is all the matters. It will come in it's own time. I've made my guesses and you have your opinion and that's all they both are. None of us know for sure and it doesn't matter a monkeys who turns out to be right as long as it comes as promised.

All I am saying is, because it has been promised, it could come at any moment, nobody can be sure and so for traders, it is a risk to play games!

I based my dates on the rumour heard everywhere of a meeting taking place but if it hasn't yet happened, I'm happy to wait. As I understand you were aware of that rumour, if not my information is wrong but not important!

Besides the muppets out there making wild claims of inside conversation that amount to inside trading at times I'm getting a distinct feeling this share is be manipulated for the big buyer or buyers.

When prominent commentators are making a big thing about stating holding no position etc while appearing to paint a questionable future, it is raising alarm bells to me. Not about the company but about their own motives. I don't see them making such statements about other things they talk about which is odd. Why do they feel the need to stress it with this one and I mean "Stress it" because it is not the first time they have this week.

I noticed something last weekend when someone made a song and dance about selling up here just after a meeting and a namesake appeared on here ripping the share to pieces. Also a consistent thing about those wanting to put down a company is to question a managements ability and that is what these commentators have been doing on each occasion they have spoken.

I will stick with my knowledge of the company and what is down there. I really don't feel I can lose at my 10.6p average and even if Djeno does miss I feel it has a limited downside for a very limited time with Mengo though to be capable of producing 500+bpod and with a potential six wells from the same pad, it is as close to a sure thing as I feel I can get in this business. As ever do your own research and beware the wolves in sheeps clothing.

Hi Random, yes I'm going on the report from the EGM which said they had met with the government over a number of months expecting to receive it. It was assumed by the reporter that it was the reason for the EGM being delayed if I remember right. We will se but as I said it has been promised now so it could literally drop any moment which is all good. As you say it's been a good week

I've had a Scottish Terrier and a Golden Retriever before. Have to say I was tempted by a Cocker Spaniel but went for the Jack Russell. As I say though, I'm a bit worried about the neighbours cos he pines for me when I'm out, but I suppose that's always a problem with a pup! I think Marmite will be loyal and follow me everywhere so yep pretty pleased :0))

Nice 300k buy this morning and a 450k one showing red I have a feeling is a buy too because of the tick up and the ask at the time. Maybe wrong but I sense movement.

Licence next week then? If not I guess we'll be looking at last week of February but the beauty of it now is we know it's coming and it could be any day so it's dangerous game for the traders and positive for the genuine long term investors.

Back again starting with 1/4m sell to try and reduce price? Usually followed by tiny sells. I think a pattern seems to be showing in the trades recently days and perhaps somebody is building a position or offloading their shorts. Hold tight
