Nobody ever wants to payout (large or small) to get what we already perhaps feel we own, but if we can't get it ourselves we don't have much choice. We should be in a stronger position to get a better deal when it comes to Nyunis turn but if we do strike substantial oil we may not even need to farm that out but only time will tell. Here's hoping

When the licence arrives is exactly right willow for it surely will but until it does then like us you won't get your "moolah" although we can still go ahead with the drilling of CH1 as it is not licence dependent.

As that is the case the dev licence would be related to further drilling (which is the field development) and I assume the pipeline spur can also be built without that licence (just needs planning consent etc) because all we will be doing there is producing what we have already been licenced to do. This is my assumption but that being the case and I can see no reason why it shouldn't be then on a successful CH1 drill we will have our route to market and cashflow irrespective of the licence.

The fly in my own face for that is that if I am right could we really have not done CH1 alone and farm out a slice for the pipeline?

Anyway I don't want to start world war three again as I am happy where we are because we will now be able to go beyond that with a FFD when the licence does arrive and effectively we will be able to arrive at destination much sooner :0))

Willow I want to buy into Solo at some point for the potential of Helium and even the testing going on sounds promising but right now I fear for holders over there.

1. You are requiring funding for your share of Ruvuma
2. Neil Ritson is slipping out of the door
3. You have a new regime who will claim credit for anything positive that happens
4. If you don't get the funding (I hope you do for the holders sake) then it could go tits up & who knows Aminex maybe be involved in snapping back up some of your existing 25%
5. The old regime gets the blame from the new, for the melee that follows

The people at the top can't lose over there right now, so if I was in your shoes knowing that Aminex do have the funding through on a free carry, I would at least hedge my bets by putting some of that Solo money into here. If you are relying on Ruvuma to make your pot of gold, it surely makes sense not to have all your eggs in the one basket?

Exactly Mather past problems aside, we have much to look forward to here and the company need to be focused on the future. As tarry rightly said earlier keep a tight reign on the budget and make this cash input work for us.

If my wording was wrong I apologise but you understand my meaning and that is what is important. Personally speaking the percentage of what goes here & where etc mean nothing and the fact they are committed such a huge amount shows a confidence in the project as a whole. That gives me huge confidence that I will see the sorts of returns that I envisaged from the start and it means I will get them much sooner than had Aminex been left alone to do it!

I initially thought Aminex could pull this off alone but over the months before Christmas Pete made me realise we could never do this and the same goes for Nyuni without help of a farm out with some clout behind it. We have it now (assuming ratified) and I am more confident than I've been in the last six months, if that were possible. LOL

The FACT remains $110m is a massive commitment on a project and you don't do it without expecting a decent return

Whether ultimately it is fully spent in a particular time frame will depend the volumes that come out of the ground from ch1 and subsequent drills but the FFD may go on for years beyond that.

The whole point of the post was to point out that they are not stupid and nobody out there would ever commit themselves to spending $110m on a crock of shyte that people here have been making out Aminex to be.

If you want to be pedantic and say 50% of it is on their own behalf I have no problem with that but it doesn't make any difference to the fact they are committed to $110m spend. So perhaps you would agree that little old Aminex is not such a crock of shyte and that in order to spend that sort of sum APT would need to be as near as possible certain that they would get a return on it?

It seem that they are willing to physically invest $110million into little old Aminex and for the life of me, (reading the contents of many posters on here) I haven't got a clue what kind of suicidal lunatics they are to even contemplate investing in what these posters say is such a bad company.

However it seems to me that any company investing $110million in what is effectively described by some as a crock of shyte must know something that these people don't. The much respected O&G Guru Malcy said only two days ago that shareholders have nothing to worry about and Aminex will definitely be remaining in the bucket list and he's just had a private meeting with Jay so who should potential investors trust?

The first pipe on the original drawing was to be an 8" diameter and a further 12" one was planned to follow as the field develops.

I know what their game is and why not buy at a lower price if you can get it? It would be foolish not too. I have bought over half a million in the last two weeks myself on the back of the drop but this lot have no decency about what they do and they publically encourage a drop in SP .
