Ok thanks. Odd in that google shows 3.90 and goes up to 17.37 which is obviously after hours…
What was the actual closing price?, seems different on google to here….
Exactly CP, I think this is either a PnD or the boost before the raise comes, same as 5th Feb and then 7th Feb scenario.
Good to see things moving though....
Why buy ?
Surely it will have to be paid for by a fund raise, no?
Looks to be the classic….. so surge before the raise comes so as to protect the mcap somewhat.
I guess good news in the round as things are progressing, but how much will the raise impact the sp? We shall see.
Said
Fish,
You paid there would 100% be a fund raise this week. Do you still think that?
Where will Helix do it’s iPO please? Will it be AIM ?
It’s going to be carnage when the raise arrives…..can you imagine how many buys will pile in !!
They do like a Thursday RNS if memory serves me….. you never know.
Correction to my previous post, it was 0.98 not 0.9. Apologies.
I’d say the funding looks to be sorted given this tender news. Sp is 0.9p according to google just now so the markets probably believe that too. Just need to wait now to hear what the impact is.
Ajawil,
No. If that were true then they would say they are funded in order to protect the sp.
We really need the next RNS to be massive or the sp will tank.
Careful what you wish for. An RNS just for the sake would be a bad thing for the sp. There needs to be a material update with specific steps being achieved, or else the market will view as weak, waffle and a lack of progress.
I have to say, the management of comms from this crowd is dreadful.
Let’s hope the next RNS is worth the wait!
Mmmm, not sure on that one.
I think the ability to announce a 'commercial discovery' packs the biggest punch in moving the sp and mcap. The resource estimates would move the sp up for sure if decent but the spike would come after is my guess.
The bit on my mind also is the 0.5mncf rate, which is low, albeit without stimulation. I just hope they will have the tech knowhow to shift this flow up and maintain pressure of the flow as well, as I hear that can tend to reduce over time.....
Ok CP, see your point.
Of course, funding & resource estimates are the immediate items, but there's still risk that the EWT flow results aren't commercial enough. We would then need to move back to Tai or start again somewhere, but in either case it would be another hard hit.
I got out at 1.85, but want back in at the right time (probably along your lines). I'll then be nervous again no doubt in anticipation of the EWT results... I'll decide before then whether to get out and reinvest upon those results being announced.
As always, best of luck to all....
Interesting points.
Are you thinking to buy as soon as raise occurs?, or let it drift a little as it did in January....0.25 became 0.18 quite quickly, and that's a hefty % drop....
Mcap
Its showing as 75mn aus dollars, so, circa £38mn currently based on 0.40 price. 10 x that is £400mn, not a £1bn ?
Or are my maths wrong....
Agreed RJ
