I am certainly expecting one before COP today. Last Tuesday/Wednesday I'm sure Bio would have been mopping up down in the mid £1's. Will they skip 6% and go straight to 7%. Let's see.

I have respect for traders. It's a honest way to make a living when done honestly. It's a skill and you certainly need big kahunas.

What I don't respect are the traders who come on here to influence others for their own personal gain. Lowest of the low imo. I believe Lewis fit into that bracket.

The ones with even a little bit of business acumen could see value in abundance in £1's.

I see it here in the £2's and £3's.

Then we're at fair value. Potential starts to kick in in the £4's onwards. There's lots of potential. Lewis will be hurting no 2 ways about it. That's trading. Hope no unsuspecting victims followed him out of the door.

With the volume over the last week it could be 8-9%. Guess we'll find out Friday. GLA

Someone seems to be buying in £20k chunks today. That's at least 4 I've seen.

HarChris, I hear what your saying. Maybe on Monday 7th, the MM's had plenty of shares to play with. The day after, maybe they were running low due to the Bio purchases. Tuesday the SP took off. Either way, with only 325k left to get to 6% I'm expecting a RNS tomorrow and hopefully a 7% one later in the week. Hoping for £2+ next week.

Assumin Bio are following the 4 day reporting rule accurately then Friday 4th they must have been below 5%. They then later disclose that by Monday 7th they are 5.54%. That's 380k shares purchased on Monday. They would have picked these up at bargain central between 130-140p. The volume in France on Tuesday and Wednesday was pretty similar to Monday which makes me think they didn't stop loading up. Why would they? They would only be able to purchase approx 325k more shares before reaching 6% so I am expecting another RNS Monday. 7% could then come Tuesday or Wednesday.

The more shares that fall into stickier hands the less volatility we will have to endure. GLA

Bio would still have to buy the short back at then end (probably at much higher prices) and then as they buy the SP continues to rise so I'm not sure how Bio shorting the stock is going to be beneficial to them. Yes it allows them to build a position but getting out of the short will become very expensive. I don't believe this is something BIO are doing personally.

We've had a war suppressing the price. We've had nervous holders stood on the sideline before buying there next installment. We've had traders selling into 10% rises. We've had lth's turn into traders to reduce there losses. The market thinks we're coming out of covid so sentiment has been against us for months. We've had months long radio silence from the bod. These are all reasons why we haven't seen a significant increase in the SP as a result of Bio buying 5.4%. However, these effects will slowly disappear as confidence comes back. Then we may just start seeing a long consistent upward trend back to fair value. A fairly quickish one at that. GLA

Don't worry Dribbles. I'm still here. I see your still beating the 'covid is finished drum'. Think you've been beating it for 12 months now. Pretty sure you'll still be beating it for the next 12 months. Covid comes in waves. Looking forward to the non covid strategy update though.

I concur that it would appear that PPT are talking about one lab, the Versa Lab. Based on below extract:

The Labs (VersaLab) provides rapid test processing in a safe, mobile and fully approved environment.

The labs are identical inside. On the Novacyt one we have the Novacyt branding, on the other it is blank. This suggests to me the inside of the lab that has "government" on the outside.

Looks positive. They have supplied systems for 50 in 2021. Not sure of selling price of a Versa Lab or whether we actually just lease them out but hopefully we'll get some more meat on the bones in the April accounts.

Always reassuring to know you're in bed with big customers such as DHSC, Tata, WHO, UNICEF. Good foundation to build our non covid future on.

Dispute will be resolved soon too imo.

Had you said 145p when we were at 230p then fair enough. You said it at 180p, shortly after it went up 30%. Listening to your prediction, lots would have missed the 30% rise.

It's not easy to predict this SP so don't take it personally.

Will it drop to 130p, 120p. Who knows but as we are already significantly undervalued I'm sure it will only be temporary.

I suspect you're in the minority there Marmalade. DA stands to earn several years salary by delivering the LTIP, and he doesn't even need to deliver 100% of it at that. I believe this amounts to having considerable skin in the game. You're free to disagree of course.

Marmalade, the shares may not be theirs yet but the opportunity is. If I said to you "run 100m in 10 seconds and I'll give you a million £. I'm pretty sure you'd be putting all the effort you could in the gym.

It's amazing to see the SP down here giving us now a negative EV. The bod know the ins and outs of the company and the industry better than any of us and they say ncyt is worth well north of £3.54. Biosynex know the industry and competition better than any of us and they were buying in at least 20-30% north of here.

Due to geopolitical influences the market is pricing us oh so very wrong. This means opportunity. It's there for the taking imo. GLA. Who knows if the SP goes further south from here but the risk/reward ratio just keeps growing in favour of reward imo.

What about CSR? Corporate Social Responsibility.

Now people can walk about freely with Covid, corporations now have a decision to make. Some customers/employees will have vulnerable loved ones at home so will expect the corporation to respect their situation and not just ignore covid completely. Yes, government testing will decrease significantly but I do believe that private testing will increase in the short term. Hopefully our sales team will be doing the prep work for when we finally get the LFT sign off.
