We've just sold 230m shares to Rod for an average of c1.1p. Almost double today's price.

Think of it like this. If we had done a deal with AA that involved AA getting 230m shares at 1.1p we'd all be absolutely raving about it. Imo Rod will open many doors in particular the investor doors. AA is one example. Let's see what's next.

Initial settlement was $125m so c€130m cash generated in 2 months that included a 4 week shutdown of 50% of our production. So over €2m cash per day and September has started probably better as TTF spent most of July in the €100's and UK gas in the £2's. With no shutdowns we could be generating well over €100m cash in September alone.

So a company with a mcap of £450m that has say £25m net cash so EV of £425m is generating say £90m cash per month currently.

If this is what is made official on Thursday then surely we will be in for a bounce. I'm assuming that the recent drop has been largely due to the uncertainty around further WFT or other measures that could have been detrimental to us. I don't see how this price cap affects us negatively. Maybe some here sees it differently?

Let's hope we join a lot more dots before a placement is arranged. The last placement was at 0.85 so that should be the absolute bottom for the next placement. At that price $5m would be around 11% of the total shares. That's a decent chunk so 0.85 has to be the absolute floor.

To get to 0.85 in the current market (iron ore looking very weak) then we'll need some amazing news.

For sure it will drop back if all cash is distributed to shareholders but over the next year or 2 we'll probably generate £15 per share in cash so shareholders win anyway.

That won't happen imo. The tax incentives are too valuable to pass up and I expect lots of capex and M&A over the next 12 months.

It's impossible to value IOCA with all the unexplored land. The premium would seem too high for the buyer and way too low for us so we need to firm up IOCA. That's what bill does. Explores and drills. He'll love it.
