I think I need to delete my last post. I am unsure if the $85.2m includes the compensation paid out after year end while the $60.3m profit is after the compensation is allowed for but has not actually been paid. The liabilities are therefore 85.2-60.3 or $24.9m minus any retained cash. That seems to balance the books better otherwise where has the surplus come from?

There is surplus cash but the market will not capitalise it until a good use is made of it. It may make Pur an attractive takeover target though but I don't see a takeover coming. Nice to have Doughpea's input!

dhlindy my analysis was not agreeing with threeputt's post but if the p/e for Pure came near to the industry average then sp would be 60p but there is no innovative tech in pure's offering just a reclaim facility run very efficiently with latest factory technology so you don't get the high p/e of expanding tech ( e.g. ARM) but nevertheless it appears Prescott will grow in the future. . see results: Demand for our wafer reclaim services has remained strong since the year-end. We are confident that these levels of demand will continue throughout this current financial year. With the semiconductor market expected to continue its growth profile through to 2017 and beyond, and Pure Wafer continuing to invest in leading-edge technology at its Prescott facility, the Board firmly believes that the Company is well placed for future growth from its continuing operations.

Turnover slightly up on last year for Prescott, Arizona when sp for whole busimess was 60p and the performance is improving and more cusomers so I imagine this will be worth at least 50% as opposed to 44% or 30p/share which is more or less where the sp has moved to now. from results I am delighted to announce that Prescott has continued to fortify its position as the leading wafer reclaim Company in the US. Following the Swansea fire a few customers have proceeded with the qualification of Prescott so that production can be switched. Due to the comprehensive and time consuming nature of qualification processes the incremental volume did not materialise until the end of the year. I am also pleased to report that Prescott has maintained record levels of productivity, which together with close management of costs, has resulted in its cost per wafer continuing to run at an historic low. This performance is very encouraging and is a measure of the strength of the business going forward.

Portfolio Comment for September 2015 During September we became fully invested (98.2% of net assets). There were no outright sales in the month but we began a new holding in Tanzania Breweries Limited. The top 5 contributors in the month were Nigerian Breweries, Guinness Nigeria, Unilever Nigeria, Britannia Industries and Grupo Lala. The top 5 detractors were Mr Price Group, Sun Art Retail Group, Hypermarcas, Forus and Spur Corp. September performance is from 28th August due to the UK bank holiday on Monday 31st August.

Scaling up well so cashflow will take care of itself if trends continue especially with the gaining of nationwide customers like screwfix. I should think local authorities and health authorities require more handholding in true social service style. Strong 2 year chart since initial roll out of business.
