As you say- looking for safe acceptance which if found the AVCT concept is validated for therapeutic use. The pharma world will then be anxious about this new development and which of their drugs might get challenged by a newcomer.

Everything is responding to the virus which still ravages the world. Noone is to blame. Just have to hope people are sensible on 4/7 and it does not expand in the UK which would be disastrous but staying closed is disastrous also.

I have assumed Optigene's offering detects antigens the same as Avacta's does.

CaptainStanley; the report says"the pilot is undertaking further validation against polymerase chain reaction (PCR) nasal swabs." which smacks of a trial. If the saliva comes out as identifying antigens and the pcr antibodies it will indicate maybe the progress of the disease. Seeing as early diagnosis is key then a sniff at the salva working would mean the government need to allow sales asap or be culpable of dither! My only concern is that virus hotspots are the best to try this out and I would have done it at those latest outbreaks in North Wales.

I think it is all a waste of time this evaluation of logistics. It should be a simple thing to say if you can prove you are free of infection you are free to go about your business. The free market will do the rest. The government should only muscle in where infection is found and do its track and trace/isolation stuff. Surely doctors are going to test their staff/care homes their staff........once saliva tests are avaiable? and any other businesses that want to.

fairdealer20, try and be a bit more positive on prospects and emphasize what might go right eg the new regime could galvanize freeholder and tenants alike and it is possible many skint people will make use of domestic offerings. Some of us are invested here but you would never guess you were.

Doesn't lightweight require firm surface to stick to and avoid wind damage. The Aussies working away from grid will like it as will bedouin nomads etc. as light for travel.
