If Avacta get their LFD(lateral flow device)on the market then in my opinion, combining this with COV-ID (catenae version of course!),creates the ideal back to work status. We would just need HMG to pass a new directive saying a test gives permission to go about normal business for say a week. Catenae should supply their sars-cov-2 badge to print for you to pin on your chest over the net aswell as the passport. If you can prove negative status with your passport you then get to wear the badge.
Talk of patrolling pub gardens etc is ridiculous but those free of virus with a passport and a badge would be OK.

As a final salvo the German offer is not a blockchain offer but a forgery-proof ident requiring the creation of a forgery-proof ident for each test. I think Catenae tech is a lot simpler and stays in the control of the user with any database kept by testing company being seperate from the ID of catenae's app user. All IMO.

There is going to be a muddle in the market too if everyone uses COV-ID so my idea of a recognisable logo to go with the word is quite urgent I would suggest.

That link is a German firm and I thought it was Catenae because of the COV-ID name - I wasn't sure.

CEO will probably appoint a couple of staff with the right connections to sell COV-ID. Some carehome groups would be good to approach as they have to show due care. A COV-ID location should have a logo on site. This is the new website I should think

The route to take for a big take up is to have the people who provide the test and the ones who give it free to their employees (this includes the government who pay for a test if you have symptons- they should also add this app to record the test so they get value for money) recommend the customer have the app and pay for it also. Individuals seeing where COV-ID operates know they will have unimpeded access with a validated test.

QR code can unlock any info. In our case it is Sars-Cov-2 status. We will need to gain customers in the testing field who can refer individuals and I hope Guy Meyer is ringing around while he waits for good graphics. NHS Trusts would be who I ring; to crack the nut we need one to sign up.

I think you will need patience with the SP. I get the impression the managements would like their junior partners to have less volatile holders and SPs. The MC is not big considering the future.

@HappyDays2U I think you are right but imo the way to tackle sars-cov-2 is to lift lockdown and allow business to open when they like as most of the population is not at risk and local outbreaks would only see a local response via shutting businesses. When the LFT is available then employers might like to test empoyees before letting them back to work. Any employee unwilling to work should stay at home on 50% wage say or if business is proven fully virus free as per an Avacta test- then be sacked. This way the people will take control of curbing the virus not the government which has a fearmonger policy.

Cloudstrife: If COV-ID allows you to open for business/meet with fellow board members/fellow software engineers etc wouldn't your-say-billion pound organization use it and pay for it. The track and trace from NHS does not allow for this it is a control measure to stop spread of virus not one to allow say - a million workers back to work to help normalise the country.

ID for tests is ideal if combined with instant test result. Imagine a barcoded test ordered by SARS-CoV-2 sufferer from web sales. You have photo ID and barcode of test veryfying ID with web sale. CTEA COV-ID captures this info with app and user can control who gets to see the verifiable result. The further good news awaited is that instant test result so that COV-ID can be usefully deployed worldwide. The main British firm I know of and in the North of England too is Avacta who are working on this. Boris is champing at the bit to announce this link up I should imagine to get the World working again.

If you are identified positive for isolating on track and trace then as soon as a fresh test comes in negative then maybe this CTEA app would be enough to allow you to circulate again and not be liable for censure. This would free up track and trace operatives to concentrate on new infections for quicker actioning and not be required to police people. Seems a sensible plan to me as the app from CTEA is not big brother but user friendly and controlled by the app user.
As many are asymptomatic it would make sense to require a test before entering a football stadium or place of close contact and for the CTEA covid app to be used allowing them to start business asap when a suitable test is available eg an Avacta LFA (lateral flow assay) when on the market.
