Rox, to extend on what 3300 replied - current ISA allowance is £20k per annum and so long as that 20k is traded through an ISA stocks and shares account, no tax is due on any money made (under current tax law) at anytime. That could change in the future as could AML SP lol!!! Hope that helps

My losses sit at 98.5% in Motif following the FDA non approval. Not worth selling since so hold my shares in the Slim hope I may get a little more of what Ive lost to date back. I wish anyone who invests here luck - you’ll need it.

And what exactly are they buying. More than 100 million was put in to getting Iclaprim to market but it didn’t get there. Anyone who is looking to develop anything Motif has left will have to have tremendously deep pockets so as to accommodate the risk reward. Again, Motif and Iclaprim been around the block a few times so you have to ask why a buyout by a bigger player has never happened if there was anything of real interest in their arsenal? Nothing but bare bones now

Agree Paul and at some point, reality has to bite but AML has plenty of opportunity to move upwards regardless. BMW just announced overall sales down 25% but interestingly China up 17%. Given the massive surge on the Asian share indexes yesterday, there’s clearly lots of money in people’s pockets so could bode really well for the DBX there IF it’s bang on the money but it’s got to be perfect. No one expecting much to jump up and down about Q2 and I think largely priced in so fingers crossed, we get a very constructive and positive update looking forward then it’s all about execution. GLA

I don’t think the SP will do much more other than range within 5% until we get clarity re any potential capital raise. Once passed that and so long as the general market heading in the right direction (albeit tentatively), SP will continue upwards and longer term should provide a nice return. GLA

Saying that, AML doesn’t have the cash RR does but any placing price will always be discounted to SP at announcement so as to compensate existing shareholders in the reduced price

On what basis do you think that Thunder? AML did a cash raise recently which dropped the share price to 20 percent of the closing price the previous day. Now the danger here is that if they are going to do such a thing, the shares have already dropped 10% today so if they drop further and then announce a cash raise via a placing, should we expect the SP to drop a further 20% thereafter? I’m holding tight until the next RNS but will buy on any news of a placing once the drop levels out. GLA

There is no reason for a placing when they have billions in cash. I hope we find out what that RNS is about soon but on face value it is b”ll**** and just simply shouldn’t have been released. It contains absolutely no news.
