Out of my depth here and I sold at 115 after watching it drop from 270 and RI announced. Hard to watch it keep rising every day now. All I know from previous experience is AML did rights issue around 50p several months ago and to date, the SP moves up but seems to always rerate to RI price so be interesting to see where RR SP settles once the RI completed.

Morning all. Bloomberg reporting that there are more billionaires around the world and that the ‘rich getting richer’! They will want to spend their hard earned money on a bit of class and there’s nothing more so than an Aston ;) I think when news comes it will be solid/positive and with the personnel behind/associated with AML the future’s very bright

I sold out at 115 on the way down, this is a mess and Covid on the up in US & UK. Great to day trade or sit very long but short and even medium term so uncertain

Getting pi55ed off with this SP 8ollox, I sell after watching it drop and drop and drop then 2 days later it takes off again. Happened with a tech holding I had too earlier this year but that was even worse - was the very next day it had a big bounce up!!!! Still a mess at RR and no faith in management though

Someone please explain that it cannot be so simple as to buy 3 shares now at £1.20ish (£3.60 total) plus 10 shares at 32p when released through RI (£3.20 total) total purchase cost for those 13 shares £6.80 which averages at 52p each. If share price stays even where it is now, you’d have made almost 150% profit so it cannot be that obvious/easy? Is there a lock in period on the 6 billion RI shares at 32p?

Am I missing something - if you buy 3 shares now at 110p then take up the 10 RI shares at 32p your average cost of those 13 shares is 50p? If so and so long as the sp remains above 50p when RI completed you’re in profit straight away? Why would the sp go down significantly further from here?

Was difficult to sell at such a loss and was tempted to take up the RI but lost faith in management here and darker forces at work around the world!! Waiting for more stable and clearer opportunities (if they ever come!!) but still got great gains from tech in the last 4 years and stay majority invested there. Got AML too for the longer term, that’s going to once again become the great British icon of motoring that it should be with the former head of Mercedes AMG at the helm and under the ownership of Stroll. Made £6000 on Easyjet in less than 3 weeks a few months back so offset losses in RR. Easy come, easy go!!! GLA

I sold out yesterday after 60% losses and would be down another £1000 today if I hadn’t!!

Sold all mine at 115p today at a loss of £6500. Will look to make it up elsewhere or buy back in here much lower if it becomes attractive but don’t see that in the near future given the useless BOD at RR. Should’ve dealt with this much quicker and more definitively. No faith in them now to act in SH best interests. GLA

All this talk of RR going under is laughable. It will not go under. It was just fine until the virus came along. Yes they’re finding it tough but so is the majority of the world at present. SP is this low down to all the uncertainty and poor PR from RR re capital. I don’t think they will do an RI as I think it would’ve been done by now. That’s not to say they may need to do one in future. All this ‘we’re reviewing, may/may not need to do this/that’ from RR is the immediate problem. Need some solid management decisions and clear PR very soon

As tempted as I’ve been to buy more at these levels to average down, I’m holding until clarification around financials as I just don’t see this holding any rises in SP until then, it’s just a day traders playground at the moment. I have dry powder and can and will double down here but not until there’s financial clarification and real progress in combating Covid. GLA

Until this capital raise/selling of assets is confirmed one way or the other, this will continue down in my opinion as if there is an RI, there will be a discount on SP at the time and buyers will expect 20%.

I am 40% down here and do not see the sp holding on any rises unfortunately and only going lower with the over hang of RI. I think price could easily go to 150. Day traders having a field day here and making a packet. Until there’s real solid positive news and or RI/capital raise issues satisfied, can’t see what takes this higher and keeps it there. I’m looking to buy more to double down but not just yet. GLA

I’m looking to buy more to average down but this over hang regarding RI or asset sales to raise capital is crippling here. I think it will keep dropping until that’s clarified. I nearly bought at 180 this morning but didn’t. Not sure why as I don’t think it can go much lower but Covid cases on the up in a number of countries too. Very low interest rates here to stay for years which is a positive for everyone so long as they not got any money sitting in a bank account!!! I’d like it to hit 150 so I can double down to 225 but that’s near 15% drop from here - can that happen?!!!

I fear more pain ahead as futures are all down significantly and just seen a flash news line on Bloomberg stating RR mulling options to raise capital - anyone able to shed specific light on possible options? I’ve been tempted to average down for a few days but sadly feel we’re going lower and the BOD at RR really need to address the overhang of raising capital and how they’re going to do it quickly. Only positive is that momentum gathering for investment out of US stocks into European. I will average down but have no idea how much lower we can go here. Just looking at Mcap of less than 4 billion for RR already seems to me to say the share price is silly cheap! GLA

This has become. Now hoping it drops further so I can double down and average around 225p. Sad to say but market doesn’t like this one bit at the moment. It seems to be being hit much harder than most and I really fear this is going to keep dropping. Need REAL positive vaccine news and quick

You couldn’t make it up lol!!! More drama than Eastenders!!! still a strong but for me but maybe someone’s not a fan of Vettel!!!

I know we’ve seen several big pull backs after big raises but Vettel signing is a statement of intent imho. Stroll wants everything he’s connected to to be world beaters so as tempting as it will be to sell part of my increased holding in AML once she claims high again, long term she will go much higher so I will hold and again add on any future pullbacks but I don’t think they’ll be forthcoming from here and once we get the master plan/DBX numbers from Moers

It is becoming so incredibly frustrating here but no way I’m selling. If it does get to 50 again for whatever reason I’ll just buy some more. Already in for £20k and have strong belief that AML is just waiting for its fuse to be lit by an eagerly awaited RNS from Moers mapping out the future and confirming good DBX interest/numbers and some.
