They are only legally obliged to buy 75,000 shares at the quoted price IF it is a phoned request from your stockbroker ie you would have to phone your broker and they would then phone the MM, who is then legally obliged to entertain the quoted buy / sell prices.

That are Not obligated to meet those posted prices IF you go via on-line.

Some peeps can make a small steady turnover with the discrepancies shown on Level 2 and the actual price. The Level 2 is simply a rough guide which then gets used by the MM’s to quite often fool the Pi into thinking that there is a market, such that they the MM’s can facilitate further trades. It’s often just an opera.

Only sure way is to put in dummy buys / sells.

The MM’s though can and do occasionally, get it wrong.

Can’t see funding being a problem : Shell operates on both sides of the border but its only in Brunei that they can operate offshore & onshore. Sarawak cancelled their onshore drilling many many decades ago so for Di (ex-senior politician) to then get to drill onshore, will have all the big boys eagerly lining up.

The RNS appears to contradict later reports. With the subscription then becoming available by end of September. So appears there could be 4 months of funding in total :

Funds under the facility will be made available to AMTE in two equal tranches of GBP500,000 each, with the first being drawn down in two business days.

The loan facility aims to provide enough time for the company and a potential new equity investor to complete a proposed initial equity investment of GBP2.5 million, with the equity investor buying 147.1 million shares for 1.7 pence per share, which would result in the investor holding 80% of the enlarged issued share capital.

The investor "intends to implement a financial solution" for AMTE, the company said.

AMTE expects the subscription to be completed at the end of September.’

If he is still holding the original quantity Stas, then he’s now below 3%. Wouldn’t really expect to see a notification when there is such a high rate churn. Eazy, that’s 2500bopd short of what was pencilled in by the analysts for this year. Will impose slightly on the interest payments. Just means a wee bit longer prior to getting to your upper estimates. A horizontal or two, would assist.

Would be nice to think that there could be a decent Tier 1 R&D dept backing this up, But! On the surface it does appear to be quite a brutal deal with the equity investor looking to try pick up 80% of the company for a pittance & who then puts a bottom $ price of the company at £3M. And IF there was indeed an R&D dept that is behind the proposed deal, I’d be strongly suspecting the Asians. Failing which, I’d hazard a guess that a techie-savvy hedge fund could be making inroads.

Arena accepting offer of 2% shares in lieu of their delayed £1M bond payment, is perhaps indicative of a nice wee bit of confidence.

Yankee., the % voting rights are referenced against the shares currently in issue.

A better example is Mr.Goozee’s transactions on 9th May, where he then held 21.3M shares & 5.3% of the voting rights, when the total shares at that time were then c.412M.

the payment was at just below the 5% threshold, but that with a wee bit of artistic licence, it was then written up as 5.6%.

Primarily it served its purpose where the announcement of a TR1 then rallied the sp which was then beneficial to all.

so a possible buy-out of the remaining 20%, which IF it occurred would then likely miss the last 12 months high of 100p (August 2022 due to the estimate of September 2023 for finalising a deal) which then gives a 12 month high of 70p as per March this year..

Sp will not necessarily collapse further, but suspect that additional funding will be required to cover until the Phase 1 is generating sufficient.

The LOI has taken 10 months.

I’m guessing that AM won’t accept a JV until he knows what he’s sitting on.

Answer Nelsonthedog’s earlier RBL query and you might then get a timescale of when AM will allow the JV to proceed. In the meantime, I suspect 1 or 2 million $’s might still be required to cover. Hence an LOI being released.
