Hi Luke
There is a lot about the S curve in this If you look up Tony Seba on You Tube on S Curves for new technologies it would tend to indicate that new technology S Curves are getting steeper he has tracked numerous new technologies from uptake of motor vehicles through electrification, telephones, TV, colour TV, computers, mobile phones etc. Not only that but the other logistical infrastructure problems that were overcome in 1905 I think there was only 4000 miles of paved roads in the USA and no petrol stations. EVs will profit greatly from UK government incentives for fleet buyers EVs are by far the best option now; and the new green deal in Europe with those substantial government incentives in conjunction with upcoming advances in battery technology will reduce the cost of Evs to rough price parity with ICE vehicles I believe within at most three years and possibly (dependent on Tesla battery day) within months.
