MATD is on the rise!

The months and the years just disappear with MATD. It's May next week and before you know it, it will be the end of drilling season and packing up for the cold weather.

I see everyone who says anything not 100% positive on MATD is the target of personal attacks.

Friday has proven that this in the short term this is now a bet on the oil price. And ultimately, a binary bet on a farmout happening or not, probably a 50/50 chance.

It’s really simple. If no farmout, they’ll be the annual raise. If there is, you might see a short term 20-50% rise.

This just shows that the recent SP was artificial and all to do with the oil price.

But that was always irrelevant as this is now a punt on the farmout, which has a decent 50/50 chance of happening IMO.

People need to calm down. We had an ideal chance today to have quality debate while some members had temporary bans.

It's nothing to do with hitting resistance levels and falling back. It's to do with the oil price falling!

Frontera, it's not me saying this. It's the market. The oil price has just fallen quite sharply, and MATD's SP has followed the same path.

Oil price plummeting on the back of news the Strait is open. We'll see if that remains the case.

But it's not doing MATD's SP any favours.

Price action of Block Energy is similar to MATD and might give an indication of potential SP action if a farmout is agreed here.

Wed can go round in circles. I've been subject to stalking, harassment, false allegations and vile abuse.

It's time to move on and talk about the company and let LSE deal with those who don't want to do that. Continually talking about cancer and the like is despicable and will be reported.

You can not rate a company but still make money from it. Equally, you can rate a company but not make money from it.

Time to move on, keep it to the company and your views constructive, good or bad.

This is a binary bet now. Farmout will mean no raise. No farmout will mean raise.

I’m very much 50/50 on if the farmout will happen. And if it does, I expect the terms to be less than good given the weak negotiating position MATD are in.

Can’t see it being mid June and right up to the deadline for the AGM. So surely mid May would be my best guess.
