Docdaneeka - as soon as you accumulate 30% of the shares, you have to bid no less than the highest price you have paid in the previous 12 months for all remaining shares. Once you have agreement from 90% of shareholders, then the remaining 10% have no choice but to hand over their shares at the offer price.
No chance of Polygon breaching 30% before February 2023 because it would cost them a fortune. That said, hopefully by February we’ll be on multiple trials and at £5 ;)
This talk of 51% meaning you have control is moderately irrelevant IMO because at 25% you can block any resolutions… Polygon can already massively influence the direction of the company, is they so wished.
I recall Matml74 saying the company could issue new shares. He seemed to know his stuff, even if he did drop us all like a hot potato post February disaster, so I’ve assumed it’s correct and nothing has changed.
