From someone purporting to be an expert in SPACs. I have no idea if all this is correct but thought I would forward it on:

One word – uncertainty.

That SPAC vehicle is low value with only $4.5m in cash (most average around $250m) of which professional fees will take $3.5m by the look of the cap agreement.

There are warrants for $97.5m in the vehicle that, if exercised, could raise further funding, but that’s unlikely unless the warrant holders believe there is value arbitrage.

So, it leaves the $15m PIPE investment as the only likely source of investment upon closing the transaction at the end of Q3. The identity of the PIPE investor has not been disclosed. It is also unclear what $15m does for the company in terms of its business plan.

As DocD always says, BP could probably buy SNG outright for £100-200m. It's a day of profits for them, so if they wanted SNG and the BOD were agreeable, they'd just buy it outright, surely?

Voting about 15 mins in? Good luck working out what they're voting on. Could be to change the ceiling lights which are all over the place.

Tommy - do you think there is any link whatsoever to the recent move in the SP? While for LTH the move is insignificant, it has been heading south relentlessly for months and months. No amount of presentations or articles on IFN have budged the SP. We then have a quite sudden reversal of this, followed the very next market day with an RNS saying our audited results are ready.

I'm probably reading a bit too much into it. But we've had a significant move in the SP at the end of last week, followed immediately by the company saying it has received its full year audited results, to be presented a week Thursday.

Maybe it is just a sudden, random surge in volumes and SP after 6 months of it just going down, and a pure coincidence the audited full year results are in, presumably complete with an operational update.

Any coincidence the full year audited results date is announced immediately following two of the best trading days for Synairgen in quite literally months? Hmm.

Hamm - we can all read a SP. We don’t need updates for every incremental 1% move.

Doc - 'the investor who didn’t understand what he was investing in' followed the same strategy as the knights in shining in armour aka Polygon.

What’s the difference between said investor and Polygon? One believed in the science and investment and averaged down, buying more shares. The other whinged and moaned to anonymous members on a BB.

What or who is the biggest failure…

- the tiny biotech that took on a P3 trial and failed or
- the investor who didn’t understand what he was investing in, now thinks it’s a complete dud but remains invested, telling anonymous investors on a BB all about it. But who also never bothered to go to the AGM and tell people who actually might care for what he says?

Spacman - did you see the comments on he re Spectral MD (SMD) and it being taken out by a SPAC and relisting on NASDAQ? If so, can you explain why the new listing will apparently be equivalent to 101p per share, yet the SP rose from 28p to just 40p?

LP has been sent off to cabinet recommended by the mining minister and designated as a matter of national importance. But how fast do things of national importance get sorted in Mongolia? It could still be months. I really hope not. I’ll be very disappointed and concerned if April also comes and goes with no LP.

MrCosts and FTC7 are mostly likely correct, as it stands.

The SP is up significantly… over the past week! Did it move because of someone taking a large punt, or has there been a leak? Realistically, it’s probably the former.

MrCosts, what would you put the odds at of us getting on a free platform trial? Also, you never answered my question the other day - what do you want us PI’s to do about it?

I think the odds are now in our favour. But not 100%.

Monday tomorrow, and always the best day most probable day for a positive RNS to land. Come on MATD, let’s get this LP done well in advance of Velociraptor spud. My hope would be for 10p+ on LP, with a push to 15p on hope for Velociraptor. The Progressive report looks good, but is sponsored by the company and these price targets rarely get achieved.

But I think we’d all secretly be very happy with 15p.

I don't know who BP is. And I definitely will not be gloating if this is red tomorrow. Actually, I'm hopeful and excited for MATD, hence why I filled my boots in the raise at 2.5p. But there's no denying it's been slow going and we've been misled by management and the MG many times before.
I'll be the first person to buy you a beer if we do get a £1 party. In fact, I'd be happy with a 30p party!
