And as negative as BP might be, I do think he is right that if this continues on much longer, even if we do have production early next year, it might be a while before we are profitable and able to sustain ourselves. Therefore, a raise might still be needed.

If this does spike to 10-15p in quick time post RNS, I'll likely sell a good chunk of shares because I think the SP will then fall back.

All guesswork, but I reckon if Q1 comes and goes with no news, then MB will be twitching to do a raise in Q2.

EC - I suppose I see it as insensitive to those (I'd assume most) that are massively down on their investment for you to chirp in every time that it's up on the day. And it's not really up 5%...the bid price, what we can actually sell at, isn't 10.5p.

EC - creating a thread “up 5%” when the SP is massively down, even in the short term, is mildly offensive.

Panamabob - I have read it all. Hence me saying earlier that a P/E of 12x is highly unlikely… the very best and biggest oil stocks in the world don’t even trade at that.

I hope it does go to 100p. But realistically that isn’t going to happen, at least not anytime soon.

Did I just read 100p, $60bn market cap, annual revenues of $8bn? There's so many almost unimaginable numbers in there I was getting lost.

Hmm. I'll be a rich man if it does! But it seems far fetched. I also don't think a 12x P/E is likely. Shell is only on 7-8x and that's one of the biggest and most efficiently run you can buy.

I’m not so sure. IMO it will only go back to 6p+ on the back of “that RNS”. But if it does drift there pre RNS, I reckon LTHs especially that have stick around this long will wait for the RNS and see what happens then.

Trades over a certain size don’t have to he declared/reported immediately. This could have been worked throughout today and even yesterday… in a way it would explain how we had so many more buys than sells, yet the SP didn’t really take off massively and we’re exactly where we were on Monday.

TR-1 for a breach of a threshold today would now be reported on Monday, I’d have thought? It certainly. wouldn’t have to be today.

Beyond that, I have almost zero knowledge on COPL, as Transhaven identified earlier ;). But I’m hoping to make a little bit of money here.
