Spacman - if you think we are busy trying to find emergency funding from the likes of a J&J, then we're in a bad place. We are in a terrible negotiating position to raise funds. The BOD know this and it's imperative we get the P2's running and then passed.

As for someone coming in and bidding £1, I'd consider that a lottery win from here and unlikely to happen. While I think we'll see the SP rerate if/when P2's are passed, right now we have to be realistic... we are 5p and as it stands, still don't have another trial running using SNG001.

If there really are 10% of shareholders wanting an EGM, that probably also means if some low ball offer came in it would be blocked, ie they wouldn’t get the 90% needed to force it through. I wouldn’t say I’m paranoid about this happening, but it has been a bit of a concern that, as you have mentioned previously, someone could feasibly come along and take the lot on the cheap, with us then not having the chance to recoup our losses.

I don’t see SNG001 curing LC. But I do think if SNG001 is administered early enough it presumably would prevent organs becoming damaged so badly that could cause future problems. All my own opinion, and admittedly I’m pretty weak on the science next to some of the more erudite members here.

I got the impression from Shaun Bunn's most recent Crux interview that this is not the case, that they don't need a partner at this stage, and will create better value for shareholders by doing as much as they can on their own first.

DocD - I’m not really bothered about an EGM at all, but I’m pretty annoyed with the lack of comms, especially after my conversations at the AGM. So if someone wanted to organise it and my shares got it over the line, fair enough. However, I’m ultimately happy to wait until the next AGM to have my moan, and I will have one, even if we get a £1bn takeover approach, because they have completely disregarded the PI.
