I must say, I am still a little surprised that the US never gave us another chance, given that we were one of only a few to have actually passed the ACTIV-2 P2 trials. All that time, effort and money seemingly for nothing. I appreciate the reasons why ACTIV-2 specifically was canned but it seemed like they were still looking to trial it, but taking into consideration things like change in SOC.

Prof - TFG have doubled their holding since the SPRINTER failure. I'd say that's conviction. Bidding outright for a company is a whole different matter.

Quite. And I really don’t think we’ll have one before the P2’s are passed. Or certainly not one that would be good enough for me to consider.

Tommy - it would be interesting to know how many LTHs have averaged down and to what level. Ad ultimately, what they/we would find acceptable. For me, having averaged down quite a bit, it doesn't have to go back to £2 to be making good money. I don't doubt there are unscrupulous people amongst us trying to manipulate. But there will also undoubtedly be some lethargy... I never intended to be here years later, and potentially a good few years yet! However, my base case remains that we need to start and then pass the P2's, and then find a good partner for the P3's or to offload it altogether for the right price.

Aether - all guesswork as ever, but pass the P2's and I'd be hoping for 30-50p. I'd have said 50-80p, but the SP has drifted lower and lower. Get a reputable partner on board (the market wasn't particularly overjoyed by Destiny Pharma and their choice initially, so it does matter) then I suppose we could go to £1 while a P3 takes place. Pass that and it's anyone's guess.

Well there was a flurry of £5k buys towards the end of the day... slightly different quantities, but all £4,994. I'm guessing less a £6 trade cost. Very possibly one buyer loading up.
