The doubt is because there have been (quite literally) countless delays and false promises over the years. Sure, things seem to be slowly getting there, and I’m more hopeful than I have been in recent times. But I wouldn’t just dismiss any concerns some might have.

Stas20 - I asked the question on what price we would achieve. I thought MB answered it well and I'm sure we've all learnt something from his response. Daqing-33, loosely 5-10% discount to Brent. Great if that is the case, and of course, the proof will be on the bottom line. I do hope we achieve more than the bopd talked about and I appreciate they are being cautious.

I also asked for the broad outline commercial agreement with PC, which I also thought he answered well.

He missed a few others of mine, around using alternative providers if DQE do not play ball and/or are slow progressing things for us. I also asked what he thinks are the next major hurdles for MATD.

All in all, it was OK. But as Aeschylus says, there were no firm dates and I have a nagging feeling DQE won't be working on Heron this month.

Thornogson, maybe a fair way beyond 3p post presentation IF MB has a giant shot of adrenaline! We do need him to really sell the company now, providing this really is now all systems go.

Bigbench - talk is cheap, especially from MATD with all the letdowns over the years. It’s all about the action now and the market will want to see actual proof and these events unfolding as planned.

They are very broad timelines. This could have been put together a week or two ago. It could well be there is more detail on the timelines later in the Q&A. Certainly, we are well into July now with 15 working days left of it, and you’d surely know if DQE really are going to be onsite in July by now.

Is DQE being onsite really worthy of an RNS? I personally don’t think so. Would that mean they’d also have to RNS when the first drop of oil lands in a barrel?

My guess is that this presentation was simply put together when the raise was proposed, to put some meat on the bone and tell investors of the plans for the year ahead. We might get a bonus comment from MB that DQE are on the highway to Heron but also maybe not.
