2 week delay so far, but we know they have to give 3 weeks notice, so it'll be at least 5 weeks late. I'll have a read of the companies act again, but I'm still not convinced it allows for the delay of an AGM just because good news might be coming.

There is no good reason why the AGM has still not been announced. You can't delay an AGM just because you're hoping/expecting good news to arrive!

MrCosts, no one knows. And inexplicable why the continued delay in announcing it. Accounts have been signed off, there’s no UK election coming up (not that that should’ve affected it anyway). It’s either for a very good or very bad reason.

Interestingly, Destiny Pharma today announced they are planning to delist. Lots of parallels, great drugs but just couldn’t finance the trials or find a partner. Now claiming it’ll be easier to raise finance as a private company. Perhaps, but at the expense of their loyal PI’s. I wouldn’t put it past Synairgen to do the same. We know they need to somehow raise cash, they’ve said that clearly. And I don’t see how they’ll raise it from the market as things stand.

Anyway, not long to wait to find out. 13 market days left of July for that RNS and Heron 1 work over completion!

Gigi - here’s a rational argument: we have had delays every step of the way since 2019. Therefore, it’s a sensible argument to suggest there might well be delays again. Also backed up by MB not saying it will happen, but that it is “scheduled” and “hoped” that July will happen.

I still disagree with maestro and Jungmana that “we know” things are starting this month. We might have a new AI bot/WOS replacement banging the drum, cheering and mocking those who are understandably more cautious given what has gone before, but we patently do not know for sure.

Cyber, whether you like it or not, some of those you don’t like have been saying they’d likely be delays and cash raises. They’ve been right. Maybe just accept others have an opinion that might be less rosey than “15p on LP” 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Cyber, I’ve been quite positive recently! Up until MB and his presentation.

The company have clearly stated they can't now afford to run their own P2 trial. I'm not sure how that has been allowed to happen, given that 12 months ago we were told we had plenty of cash to run multiple P2's. This should be the first question asked at the ever delayed AGM. So unless SNG do get themselves on a platform trial (still possible), there will likely be dilution for shareholders in some form.
