Gusto isn’t new. He alternates every few weeks between hyper pump and hyper dump. Here’s a few posts from the days before the RNS on Heron 2 disappointing:

What I can’t understand is how 30 bopd for H2 is commercial. At best, I reckon that’s clearing less than $500k per year, and that’s ignoring general costs. It’s £4m to get a well fully functional? So, 8 years just to cover costs.

Am I missing something?

Hi Shalamar, apologies for missing the question. It’s honestly not an area I’m overly familiar with and certainly no expert. But I know some on here do… maybe they can help?

Being a bit more constructive than some of the real trolls that have descended onto the board today, I would say that Heron 2 is a blow because it will now mean significantly less cash coming in than we had hoped for. Will that impact the development for the rest of the Heron project and/or might we need to raise funds from somewhere? I think this is why the SP has taken such a tumble.

Thornogson, Heron 2 is definitely next year, if anything can be done at all. Heron 1 they’ve said if any surface modifications are needed it will be next year. I’m not sure what else they can do to stabilise pressures that doesn’t involve this… anyone?

TBT - I know the facility of a soft loan was there, but I don’t recall it ever being used?

Re Rio Tinto and PC getting what they want easily enough… They can fill their jiffy bags far more considerably!

TBT - re the Petrovis soft loan we’ve had previously, when was this? To be clear, I’m not disputing it and am genuinely interested to know when it was as I don’t recall it being during my time here, which is a few years now.

IF nothing unscrupulous is happening, then I really don't see how MB can be blamed for this. Heron 2 is likely bad luck, and PC and the MG are just disgracefully slow to do anything.

However, long term I wouldn't say I'm overly impressed with MB, and the raise in early 2023 just 6 weeks after he'd explicitly said there'd be no raise for the foreseeable, was a joke. His communication skills also leave a lot to be desired.

Anyway, an awful week which no amount of window dressing can hide. Let's hope for a better week next week. AIM really is boom or bust it seems... this time next year, we'll probably be bust or 10p+.
