“The refinery is not years away. Completion is expected BY March 2026.”

As said below, the most recent presentation said the refinery (which has been ongoing for some time now) was only 16% complete and is planned to be onstream for 2027. So potentially 3 years away. And yes, when is a construction project ever on time.

In summary, forget the refinery for now. We need to get to a point where we’re able to stand on our own two feet way before then.

L200 - no need for the attitude. Those big sells yesterday around 3.30pm IIRC dropped the bid down to 1.4p.

Anyway, it’s minutiae- we’re down heavily over the past week or so. Time for MB to calm things.

There’s many operators in Mongolia. PC is the obvious one right on the doorstep but I’m not sure the MG would want to be even more reliant on them. They could even decide to nationalise it… after all, they’ve designated it of national importance. The key point - the MG do not need MATD. Do you think if we go bust that they’ll just leave 60m barrels of oil in the ground?

Plenty of director buys RNS’d today on some other companies I keep an eye on. How positive it would be for MATD if MB and some of our anonymous directors bought some on the open market at these prices. Would certainly give confidence. Will they do it? I doubt it.
