RE: No trades?26 Nov 2024 19:34
In all seriousness, this selling, usually in multiple blocks, always in nice round numbers, is highly odd. I’ll be accused of spreading FUD, but I had a small punt (gamble) in COPL a few weeks before they went belly up. I remember watching the relentless sells (admittedly far more serious than what we’re seeing here, with trades of £50-100k regularly rolling in, and guess what, in multiple, large round numbers) but it stank to high heaven. We now know there was serious foul play and a court case beckons. I am confident they’ll be prosecutions.
Now I’m not saying we’re seeing anything quite that bad with MATD. But we are dealing with the Mongols and Chinese, massively corrupt countries. People can keep the blinkers on but we are at 1.45p, the lowest we’ve been for a long time discounting the many more shares we now have in issue, yet we are now producing, have permissions, the MG onside etc etc, all things we dreamed of not so long ago and which were supposed to massively rerate the SP. I don’t think it’s solely because of an unfortunate result with H2, but more because of this relentless selling. And yet I agree with Proquo, we are way past the point of this being overhang from the raise or some II bailing out. So what is it? Because it’s something.
