The biggest risk here is possible foul play/corruption. COPL is always referenced on here, but that was based in the US and it's basically been confirmed there was foul play at work, where there's a small chance justice might be served. But in Mongolia, there's no chance of anyone being brought to justice.

Certainly, rereading the RNS of 20th December, it does imply multiple times the £18m is for the full trial. But what does it matter anymore? They’re delisting and this is now more than likely a dud investment. I’m sure some kind of COPL type legal action could be brought against the BOD, but who’s going to lead that charge?!

As for the refinery, that is years off. Even MB said the timescale given will very likely slip even further out.

DocD - I’ve had another scan through the 20th Dec RNS and can’t find it so perhaps it was the interview on the same day that I picked it up. Certainly, it was that same day I text Wigster to express my disbelief it was only taking us to halfway!

The more I look at this, dropping the placing just before Christmas etc and feedback from the EGM attendees, it’s quite clear to me they always intended to go private, where we’re now even more powerless to do anything.

DocD, I think this was detailed somewhere because I wrote in a private text on 20/12 to Wigster “ So £18m only gets us to half way and the interim analysis. and if TFG get to 75% because PI’s don’t take it up, they’ll delist. Wow.”

Regardless, it all stinks and I’m convinced this was engineered in such a way as to make sure SNG delisted.

On Fred’s rallying call, something similar happened over at COPL which I’ve taken part in. But it was done through solicitors. I’m not sure I fancy giving my personal details to someone/something I don’t know anything about.

We also don't know for sure how they are going to price the stored oil...will it be on a daily basis when it was stored, or all in one lump on the days price when it finally gets sold. Or have they got some other agreement in there for the stored oil??

Adw - I do wonder what the catalyst will be for this to significantly rerate. We thought it would be the LP, then government support, then production ffs, but nothing has moved it. Quite the opposite. So will some better production numbers do it?

I also said many months ago that the market won't believe anything until it sees physical $$$ dollars in our bank account. And as it stands, we still haven't received anything.
