I went back 10 years and have looked at the SP performance from 1st Jan to end of Jan, Feb and March:

2015 to 31st January/28th Feb/31st March: +52.9%/+44.4%/+155.6%

2016: 0.0%/-24.0%/-32.0%

2017: +155.4%/+333.4%/+238.5%

2018: -40.0%/-15.8%/-11.2%

2019: +43.1%/+136.3%/+126.7%

2020: -15.6%/-17.1%/-46.8%

2021: -8.6%/-27.0%/-35.4%

2022: +22.3%/+24.8%/+20.0%

2023: -4.9%/-31.5%/-13.8%

2024: -8.5%/-26.8%/-3.7%

In summary, in all of those dates we were only up in the new year 4 years out of 10. And often the SP got progressively worse!"

So, the SP very often doesn't rise in the "new year" or even early in the year, i.e. first 3 months.

You then changed it from in the new year, to May/June, LOL!

Re Gusto, yes, he’s an out and out trader. I called him out on it last year.

Abzzba, I’ve been saying those block sells are fishy for months, have I not? I also said multiple times that we’d be 3-4p or more if it weren’t for them.

If MB is innocent and oblivious to what is going on, he must be as perplexed as anyone. He was probably hoping we would be 5p by now so he could do a raise at 3p. Now, he’s in a really sticky position with the SP at 1.35p bid. He absolutely needs to get this SP up before any raise or hope that there is some free funding coming (unlikely IMO).

Naive in the extreme to think those 2 x 4m buys are normal buys. Both placed within seconds of each other, out of the blue. Are we suggesting insider trading? I wouldn’t be surprised if there has been some kind of shorting attack on the share and maybe this is some sort of squaring up. It all just smells funny IMO. I also wouldn’t be surprised if what we’ve seen these last months is something like an effort to deliberately depress the SP for a cheap TO or worse, to try and bust MATD. Regardless, anyone who thinks all these block sells and now these buys are normal are in cuckoo world.

So virtually zero buying for days and then we get 2 x 4,000,000 buys within seconds of each other… hmm, that’s as fishy as all the block sells we’ve seen. What, some PI logged on and bought 4m and then flipped across to his wife’s account for another 4m? Highly odd and seems like games are at play once more.

Something has been going on for months with trading here. And I don’t believe it’s for the regular PI’s benefit.

Please quit with that $100k MB stock in the raise. It is a nothing amount for someone earning $500k. It would have looked terrible if he hadn’t have participated and might have meant that raise and/or future raises failing.

The weather simply warming up won’t warm up this SP. That will only be possible with a knockout RNS. Anything even moderately positive won’t see any change. It has to be something like one or maybe even a combination of:

- Heron 1 pumping at 500+ bopd

- Heron 2 fixed and pumping at 150-200+ bopd

- Gobi good news

- Help financially or a JV etc for development of Heron field

- Unlikely, but some kind of news on renewables that means cash generation

- No bloody raise
