Oh, and that’s an opinion. No one get their knickers in a twist over it. Could well be wrong and regardless will be interesting to see how this plays out.

A raise for potentially many things…

- accelerate Heron development

- for work on H2, Gazelle, Gobi

- renewables ventures

- Borzon works

- to give us financial wiggle room if anything happens with H1 and PC

- to put us in a stronger negotiating position for any JV/partnering

- because if the SP falls back for whatever reason it might then mean the ability to raise is gone

Some of those are potentially good reasons to raise. But any raise really does require you to partake to avoid dilution.

200 bopd is £3m per year. Enough to keep the lights on but nothing more. Unless H1 really does massively improve on that, I don’t think MB will be able to resist a raise to accelerate things. But in the short term, a raise would likely be very bad for the SP.

Abzzba, if there was no news and we drifted up to 3p, I’d likely sell a chunk of shares, maybe 30-50%. Because I don’t think MB will be able to resist a raise at that point. But if it hits 3p because we’ve had some blockbuster news and it could go materially higher, I might hold.

Unless it really does hit your 12p, I’d be inclined to continue holding some shares and see how it plays out.

Credit where it’s due, it held the 2p.

Now for a solid ops update next week. I’m not greedy, 2.5p will do on that. Maybe a drift up from there and then bail out before MB’s thirst for a raise!

Since the last meaningful buy at 10.15am ish, it’s been sell sell sell, ~3m without much reply.

I'd like to see the bid tighten up. It is the price that really matters to holders.

Providing PC don’t d1.ck us about (very possible) and pay us before the last day of the month, you’d think the ops update would be next week. At the same time, I really wouldn’t be surprised for there to be some issue. There’s usually something.
