I reckon (yes, all posts are IMO!) a raise with the SP below 2.5p is not plausible. 40-50% discount would mean 1.25-1.5p. 640 million share issue limit, so £8-9.6m raised. I'd say that's the minimum require to develop Heron, work on Gobi, Gazelle, Borzon, renewables etc.

It's POSSIBLE they could do it now at circa 2p, so 1-1.2p with a 40-50% discount applied. But it would decimate the SP and IMO not raise enough.

MB is likely praying that we finally get paid by PC, see the SP rise, and then he can do his raise.

Gravy, you don't pay much attention! I've said I think a raise can only happen with the SP at 2.5p+, given that it'll likely be at a 40-50% discount.

I think MB would have already pulled the trigger on it, but couldn't with the SP down at 1.3p. Hence the "low cost operations" comment for this year. But I expect if the SP continues to drift higher, he'll go for it. I suppose he could go for it now... at 1.2p perhaps.

We'll see, it's an opinion. Try not to let it stress you out too much ;)

Gravy, as said many, many times, I have been more unhappy with how MATD have been treated (MG, PC etc) than MATD themselves, albeit I haven't been happy with everything MB has said/done.

But, believe it or not, you can be unhappy with how a company is run, it's long term prospects, whatever else, but still make money from it.

I wasn't happy about the raise. But thought money could be made at 2p. I was right, it went to 3.5p. The problem? I didn't sell.

Bought too many in the 2p raise ;)

TT - That is very true. However, the reality is that 200 bopd (or even 400 bopd if improvement works are successful) isn't enough to do anything but keep the lights on. I reckon MB, and the MG especially, will want to see us invest in accelerating Heron development. They have (finally) been supportive and need the money and oil from Heron for the upcoming refinery. I do not think they will accept us just ticking over with one well.

TT1981, the previous two raises MB has explicitly said there would be on need or intention to raise for the foreseeable future. Just weeks later we had raises!
