I think a safe way to value would be to look at AIHL revenues, DOD assay and POC Saliva and base it on that, its hard to know what the lab assay is worth because the big numbers for testing may only last a year or two. The others all have longterm revenue streams ( i think ive missed one as well). What would that number be i wonder? £300-400 million ? Just guessing with that number.

If Danaher wanted to buy GDR, then its a question of timing isn't it? Are they waiting to see if BC land some major distribution contracts, if they do then Danaher would step in quickly you would think. Before the SP has a chance to hit its peak perhaps.

In the light of the US administration's massive plan of action for testing I would think securing a supply of reliable and accurate tests will be a key component to achieving their goals. The opportunity for a huge testing supply contract via BC and Danaher is eminently possible. 193million tests a month I read here yesterday, even if its not that number its of that magnitude. What do we hope to sell? 160,000 a day or 3.6 million a month based on two shifts per day perhaps ( and not just to America). I'm excited, it could be massive. Patience isn't always easy though. GLA

With the need for big daily testing numbers there is certainly scope for all our production to be absorbed. For a big lab guarantee of supply and a time saving and error reducing test will be very attractive. I would be amazed if we don't land a contract of significance through BC. I can see them assisting a lab to win big state and government testing contracts. Certainly Danaher have the lobbying muscle to achieve that outcome. Fingers crossed.

BC didnt get in to this to do DB a favour, they are in this to make money and will have approached big customers to discuss the assay and its potential uptake. Millions is correct.

I am sure DB is well aware of the perception in the market, placings are never popular as someone always gets stiffed, also companies do monitor these bulletin boards so i have no doubt DB will want to go into the presentation with good news, RNSd before the event.

Just had a quick look at their website, this could be a backdoor for Covid tests.

Whats the upper limit to our production at the moment, i know over 10,000 tests per hour but can this be done over tw0 8 hour shifts 7 days per week, at 10500 tests per hour that's 1,176,000 per week...

The price here is news driven for me. Looking at the article I mentioned from the independent it's clear that the US wont go with a scatter gun approach as data and tracing was non existent.

This means coordinated large scale testing and the resources and management to achieve that. It's easily conceivable that BC could approach government/state level administration through lab partnerships to guarantee volume testing solutions where its needed.

If you were a lab chain or state administration you would be looking to secure the resources to take advantage of this massive opportunity.

Securing the resources to carry out testing previously was a problem in the US. Guarantee of supply will be crucial.

I believe that there will be deals in place awaiting this confirmation. Way too much money being thrown at this for smart people not to see the possibilities. Just my opinion..
