Very quiet on here today despite a strong day and fantastic finish. Where are we heading tomorrow?

scamp, didn't add a lot today but it still bought my average down. I know there is risk here but am happy to play long. IQE ranks #3 in my all time profits list despite current losing positions. Current b/e now around 70. Thought we might go there today. I was wrong. Tomorrow is another day. GLA

Why would hope that? I added as I believe this will generate a return. Have made money on this company every time and confident I will again. Has required patience and sometimes lots of it but this imo is still a great investment. You please yourself but looks like a deramp. GLA

My assumption (with nothing to back it up) was that multiple parties were involved and as discussions were ongoing, details were not released. A potential buyer may also request confidentiality. That was based on the last RNS. The longer it goes without a deal, the more worried I get. The sp will remain very volatile without solid news. I'm now under 190 average and cautiously optimistic of eventually escaping if not making money. I am also prepared to be patient.

I've also added and averaged down this morning. Regret not taking more profit at 150 but still think good money to be made here. Not sure on timelines but a good sale of Kier Living should help. That sounded close from the last RNS. Time will tell. You pays your money and takes your chance. GLA (long that is).

hilt, if you have a small number, then their value is probably tiny. In that case, out them in the back of a drawer and forget about them. No point selling probably. They may, just may one day be worth something.

Lots of $hit being thrown around here. Have been in this since the heady 27p days of 2014. This clearly is not just another P+D but potentially a significant change with new board member joining. It will most likely come to nothing but there is some grounds for optimism unlike previous times. I need 2.5p to get above water and somehow don't see that happening. Never say never though. GLA.

IF you are planning to hold longer-term and IF Kier does not go under, then this would be potentially a great investment. Short-term, this is still a traders dream - up and down. End of the day, we all make our own decisions. GLA

I thought about it but went for more likely speculative companies instead. If (and it's an incredibly big if) this does turn around, many of us stand to be pretty well off. They've had all the money I'm giving them.

I would say every share purchase is a bet in that case. Just a question of risk versus reward. This IS risky but the potential reward is also good. I have a target of 250. Time will tell.

And the winner (plus a nice closed short) at 130.xx is KayO (compared with the finishing position of 133). Tomorrow of course is another day and probably a heap more volatility. GLA

Pretty good option for a hedge today. Have done the same on other stocks. Winning in both directions will be a great result.
