Given the smoke and mirrors on AIM, taking profit often makes sense. So many false dawns and ramps.

I'm happy to add at this price. Brings my average down to around 9p. Not sure we'll see that for a while but 5.35 is a decent entry point. GLA

Another false dawn yesterday and disappointing day today. This seems pretty typical of several of my AIM stocks. Managed to get a buy just before the jump yesterday and strongly considered taking what would have been a 30+% profit in half and hour. Of course, held on for the sustained rise that never came. The key is always knowing when to sell. I sometimes get it right but more often than not, either too early or too late.
So much smoke and mirrors but does there need to be so much *****ing on here?

Someone bought and sold 5m today. Maybe a quick profit was too hard to resist. Was surprised we didn't get a rise last week.

Read a report recently that risk .v. reward looked good at below 70. Risk was company going bust and losing everything but reward could be anywhere up a fiver if news turned out to better than feared. Never going to hit my 729 break even but still hoping to get back to close to my spreadbet b/e at 229. This one is a rollercoaster though and still anything can happen. GLA
