Good recovery this morning from 105.4. Given the volatility, I'm tempting to trade a portion and jump back in at the next dip. Still think we'll see a good medium term recovery to 200 especially if there is any good news out there. Going to be a few bumps in the road before that though....

It's a huge amount of money and I have low confidence of the ability to deliver to timelines or budget BUT this is a project that will provide the infrastructures for decades to come. If it's not now, it will probably be never.

Given all the RNS's over the past months, surely this has to have a big financial impact. I must admit, given this is 10% of my portfolio, I'm nervous but optimistic. I plan to hold regardless.

Can't see anywhere the date for the 1/2 year announcement. Was end of August last year. Will it slip out without warning?

Matthew, normally your broker should arrange this. I'm with share.com and they are quite proactive with shareholder benefits. If you're not getting any, ask your broker to take car of it.

Confused? Why? Am happy to be making money. Have a few more that I thought might be takeover potential but this wasn't one of them. Just don't see UK companies being owned abroad as necessarily a good thing. For what it's worth, imo Brexit is ****** and the dumbest act of sabotage in my lifetime.
Regarding when the deal will be finalised, looked a little vague, i.e., Q4 2019.

UK companies are ripe for takeover at current exchange rates. With no deal sterling will head even lower and make takeovers even more likely. So much for taking back control.
