bdev going up nicely more buyers than sellers same old story with this dog more sellers than buyers

jakobski in one of your previous posts you said we could fall to 130 but still you would not sell and now you say we are attractively priced

hi bamps i agree bdev did have a spectacular fall from the peak of about 700p in october 2017 to 485p which was about 2 months ago so the drop was gradual i do not expect bdev to get anywhere near 700p this time because of the poor sentiment around the builders but i expect an increase of about ten per cent to about 610p so my thinking is if bdev go up ten per cent then tw will also go up although it will be by about seven per cent bringing the share price to about 176p that will at least pull back some of my losses so do not need to sell and try to make the money elsewhere as i could be hit with the double whammy of losing money on another trade of course i could be totally wrong and we could go further down still i think next week is very important and we need to be making progress and pull back a couple of pence at least

hi nige i have been saying for ages that bdev has been doing better than tw you just have to look at the 3 month performance i just wished i had switched to bdev much earlier instead of sticking to this dog i feel there is something really strange going on with tw is it the hedge funds shorting the stock the day traders buying on the dips selling on the mini bounce that means tw will remain stagnant in the 160s or even fall further you will not have this problem with bdev and i am sure that trade will be profitable for you as i see bdev getting to 600p minimum by ex div date so there is about ten per cent to be made minimum

a share price will only fall if there are more sellers than buyers unfortunately this has been the case for the past few weeks also this is a very easy share to day trade and make money on you just know that this share will not go up 3 days in a row the day traders know this so they just dump on the rare occasion it has gone up 2 days in a row buy back on the inevitable drop on the third day to think we were trading above 205p in may to 165 p now a drop of over 40p per share unbelievable

you are forgetting corlis that many people are already sitting on large losses on tw now and yes some will be in profit who bought much lower than this .Now it has breached 165 again i can see this going much lower next week and breaching 160p and even your target of the 130 is possible so the question now for a lot of people including me is it better to bale out now to protect further losses as there is a lot of downside volatility on this share whist the upside volatility is very limited

i am using todays share price as an example of course i have bought at a much higher price and so have a great many others

hi graham people go on about the great dividend tw are paying but if the shareprice will go down more than the anticipated 16p payable including the special then we are in effect being paid our own money at this rate we could be trading 140-145p after the payment of the special in 2019

we have lost more than the interim dividend amount of 2.44p today

the rise in bdev was greater than tw yesterday the fall in tw is greater than the fall in bdev but this has been the case for the last 3 months

this dog is in the ftse 100 top fallers yet again number 4

sub 166p we will not get a recovery today will finish sub 166 today to make this a terrible week the problem is could go lower still next week

fall was almost guaranteed after 2 consecutive blue days and the very large sell trades yesterday

every penny rise is hard fought but it can fall for fun

Great that's all I need chancers like you with no more than a couple of thousand pounds to invest looking to buy into this on the cheap when it is already down over 25p from the peak I hope for my sake and a great many other people on this board you do not get your wish

I am seriously considering selling all of my holding here as I am totally fed up of the lack of bounce here this is something that before the payment of the special dividend Taylor wimpey was famous for I know there are no guarantees of getting your money back if you sell and buy something else but at least it will be better than keeping it here and watch the share price drift down as that is all it is doing

Let us face it there is no demand for this dog meanwhile redrow are up about 4 per cent I feel another big fall of 3 or 4 pence is just around the corner followed by the usual bounce of a penny

Got hammered over 4p a share yesterday have to make do with a measly 1p rise today absolutely pathetic feel I am supporting a charity

A lot of people on this board are saying I will not sell at a loss eveven if it takes years for the recovery which could be anything from 2 to 10 years and even then there is no guarantee you will get your money back in the meantime you will be collecting massive dividends which is your own money anyway and share price will drop by the dividend amount anyway if not more so net result you have your money tied up in this dog while there could be better uses for your money

hi owls i am suffering large losses and cannot expect to make this up day trading but i am kicking myself for missing countless opportunities to sell and buy back my own shares today was a classic example sell at 170p buy back 164/165 i now just have to hope this is the bottom so at least my losses do not become greater
