hi tom good recovery for tw bdev also went down to 547.20p was getting a little worried having bought at 555p

reason i bought into these a couple of days ago is that bdev has been outperforming tw lately soon as i sell tw they have been outperforming bdev bloodly typical not looking good for the pre dividend rise will have to put a stop at 545 if it gets that low in the next couple of days

4 weeks to the dividend i thought these would be going up what is the reason for todays fall

soon as i sold out of tw at 166p 2 days ago they have picked up 4p always the case you sell a share and they go up lol

hello kd 47 that is my plan so i can get back some of my losses on tw the difficult part is getting that rise to 595 to 600p easier said than done

hi nige i think the peak of barretts was 705 last year pre divi but as the commentaters are saying that this is the top of housing cycle and house price growth has slowed and also uncertainty around brexit means we will be about a pound short of last years peak my estimate is 605 you are saying about 640 hope you are right obviously we are not going to get blue days everyday but i expect some real movement starting from tommorow

tw going great guns i think i was jinxing the share price and me selling has had a positive effect lol

hi nige you are right about not setting a price target because if it does not reach it then you will be dissapointed but funnily enough since i sold out of tw at a big lossi have noticed that tw has been performing better than barrett just my luck lol

hi sunset 777 i am basically chasing my losses bought into tw at the peak at 202p sold yesterday at 166p at a massive loss i got suckered into the grand 5 year plan by tw and all the rampers on the messageboards saying it would go to 230p and above tw has been sinking like a stone ever since problem i feel is too many day traders and incompetent management admittedly barret also went down sub 500p a few weeks back but what a recovery and hopefully there is more to go just bought over 53000 shares just hoping for a pre dividend rise not expecting the 700p like last year but i expect between 595-605p

another advantage i have is that there are less shares in issue so less day traders in barrett than tw i feel the day traders are holding back the share price in tw also the management whilst the tw product maybe better than barret i feel the management is better at barretts tw should be trading at 172p minimum now if they were i would not have sold anyway i am sure tw will rise along with bdev

hello bamps i will sell soon as it hits 595 that will get back some of my losses in tw if it does not hit that i will hold for the dividend but i am pretty confident it should reach that minimum but not expecting much more than this last year it hit 700p so expect 100p less per share this year

just bought into barratt today at 555p sold out of taylor wimpey yesterday at a massive loss hoping these will go up to 595 -605 ex dividend

back in with bdev today got in at 555p was going to buy at 558 yesterday expect these to go up to 595 -605p ex dividend date

hi bamps just had a look at hurricane energy they are up over ten per cent on the week hundred per cent on the year think i have missed the boat on that one i was considering kaz this morning nice to see a rise for tw all the talk of it going down to the 130s was nonsense i think the floor now is about 165p but the upside is limited to about 175p- 180p would love to be wrong for all the holders but i think it is important to get realism on this board do not think i will be doing a ftse 250 or aim trade again in a hurry the brokers screw you on the spread on a negotiated trade it is okay if you are doing a small trade so you can control the price

hi bamps took your advice and sold made a small profit but there is to much spread on the negotiated trades not really worth the risk

hi davielad i am glad you made a profit on tw and since the price you sold out at the price has been drifting lower with no real bounce while bdev has been going up which was absolutely sickening i am basically chasing my losses with sxx but that was some drop on thursday just hope i have timed this buy right with sxx

right going to have my daily bud been a stressful morning selling tw buying sxx need to calm my nerves

hello tom i have sold out of tw at a massive loss bought into sxx they are down 25 per cent in a week just hope for a bounce the trade over a million shares in sxx is mine

i take back what i said about bdev going up ten per cent up to their special dividend tw will go up seven per cent yes i have no doubt bdev will go up ten per cent but this dog will not go up seven per cent it will just stagnate at the 166 level there are to many shares in issue so the selling pressure will always remain
