we have been on a downtrend for months the pre dividend rise did not happen so there will be a lot of selling pressure in the next few days a lot of people who bought for the dividend will just dump hard to see this getting above 500p anytime soon will probably go sub 480 first

hi johnson the dow is well down but how low can the builders go with their dividend yield this is getting crazy now i expect the builders will be down again tomorrow and a lot of people will be selling out of panic and a lot will be stopped out

well woodford must be losing big time on his investment in bdev now the dividend was just over six per cent and we have had a fall of twelve per cent nearly twice as much as the dividend

graham the market is pricing in a housing slump so tw and bdev will not have the profts to pay the special dividend but i still cannot believe how low tw and bdev are now especially bdev down six percent today unbelievable there is just no real bounce from the builders

we need some positive broker reports none for august

no chance mate today or tommorow of 515p maybe with the update we get to 515p but with a poor update could go sub 485p

bought for the pre dividend surge at 555p which did not happen now at 495 down 60p a share

where is the growth if you have bought at over 2 pounds just over 6 months ago and now they are worth 35p per share less tw only paying about 18pence dividend a share so you will still be well done krustysm

yes i believe bdev is seriously undervalued but that does not mean broker targets are going to be met just look at vodafone down about 40p per share from about 3 months ago i am now hoping we do not get the full dividend drop tomorrow and a good friday and better start to next week and hopefully a good trading update but tomorrow we could be looking at 520p

when do we get a meaningful rise of 4p or more in a day this is about the ninth consecutive day we are down or flat

hi nige i took objection to his smug comment that even if bdev falls ten per cent after ex divi i will still be up when other people who have just recently bought bdev are down like myself he comes across as he knows a lot about trading when obviously ihe does not. even i got this trade wrong if you remember my estimate was between 580p -587p my estimate was the lowest of all the people who made predictions of the share price on ex dividend day i also mentioned that last year bdev went up a full one pound in the 4 weeks before the payment of the special divi nearly every day a blue day this year the share price has remained flat in the 4 weeks

tom i agree bdev performance shocking lately but although tw doing better than bdev recently they are still about 5p short of where they wer about 2 weeks ago 173p about 5p down if you include the dividend
