hello nige holding in these uncertain times is risky if no deal brexit then share price will get hammered also if trading update not good expect the share price to be hammered the market is brutal these days just look at tesco today i bought for the pre dividend surge which has not happened like last year have to admit i got this trade badly wrong do not expect much of a recovery in the next 5 trading days could possibly head lower to the 550p level as a lot of people will be dumping for taxation reasons also brexit uncertainty

bdev was consitently trading above 600p for a good few months after the payment of the special last year we are down over twelve per cent so bdev has also been hammered especially if you look at the peak price october 25 2017 705p a full pound down if you include the dividends someone who bought 50000 shares at the peak last year would be 50k down now

hello kd37 i agree with we all want to make money but easier said than done maybe we get that pre dividend push in the final five trading days as at the moment no demand at all for bdev

you are right mark if you do not need the money then bdev is a good place to leave your money especially at the price i bought at and with all the positive broker forecasts as well

yes mark i am well down on tw i bought into bdev at 558 including dealing costs just over 2 weeks ago my mistake was not selling last friday when it got to 578 i would have made a nice profit and you are right it is not about who is right or wrong just have to hope for a change in sentiment surely it has to get better in the next few days if not i will probably have to hold out for the dividend and the trading statement on october 17 to see if that will give the share price a lift

okay my prediction between 580 -587p will be a lot closer than your prediction of 640p before october 10 even you are saying now that you will hold for the dividend as you now have accepted that your prediction is way off the mark
