An MRE is an assumption and varying methodologies and calculations giving different estimates merit being JORC compliant.

GGP can up or downplay as needed in future dependent on what stance needs to be taken... there is no definitive 'number' that is being kept secret.

Now is not the time IMO to either upset Newmont or play our hand and we'd see a negligible effect on SP as the market is waiting for everything to play out and the sign off for Havieron to be inked.

@MrECM - We didn't have much choice around the 5% but at least in public - peace was made between NCM and GGP.

Why start off on wrong footing with newmont mate?

@CP - I'm thinking more around negotiations as hard to push a lower price/resource than the one you already published and let's remember the same drill data can be reinterpreted a dozen or more ways, you can have different assumptions in what is down there made and still be JORC compliant...

Hi Tig, respectfully disagree my friend as if we end up publishing our own MRE, it might well be because the relationship is strained probably with the majority owners, never a good thing and won't have the same impact IMO as the major publishing one and the market will consider this against viability of the project being initiated by Newmont if there seems to be dissent amongst JV partners. The general market makes assumptions based off less research and knowledge than LTH's.

But our previous independent MRE WAS worth doing for the 5% option exercise despite the lack of a sustained rise in SP and we were in a competitive exercise with NCM. Shaun has specified scenarios where we might publish our own MRE and DFS and at the moment I'm happy with his strategy as he circumvented Newcrest's attempts to gain 5% cheap previously.

My guess is if Shaun realises his own MRE next week, it would just be traded like yesterday's news and we'd be left with a inconsequential rise and have muddied the already murky waters while the NEM/NCM deal is being finalised . We need to start off on a good footing with Newmont whether we remain in a JV or end up in a sale/acquisition scenario for now.

Releasing an MRE for 10MoZ for instance means we'd be pricing Hav unofficially and works against us if we get an opportunity to buy the remaining 70%. My understanding is that the next wave of the Lassonde Curve will be driven by Insto's coming into GGP and not retail - so we need to execute strategies around that IMO again I am happy with current tactics... although as disappointed as you with SP.

My current position is to review once in production and make my decisions on future investment in GGP and how much etc. and review quarterly as I would do for any other revenue producing company. At the moment GGP is something I am speculating on around events.

@96dc2, did you submit questions to Liam as I am sure he will have tried to ask as many pertinent questions as possible in the time allowed, we have had the opportunity to submit questions:-)

It's the DFS and DTM for me and hopefully ASX but no prior experience of having a stock cross list on there so new ground for me.

@loftmonkey... You don't seem to have considered any external factors such as a huge 2020 stock market bubble and then the downturn after it and the sector sentiment and things such as POG too at all, just the prism of GGP?

GGP just like any other company despite its amazing potential and fundamentals turned out to be just as affected as most AIM junior explorers by the above and I have certainly learnt a lesson from that and sitting through such a decline in SP doesn't feel clever, but the accountability rests with me and you as investors.

Shaun and co have delivered against those challenging circumstances with funding, growing the team, some further success on tenements, purchasing more prime ground and now a new JV (many posts here inc. mine have covered the events in detail) and of course going into production we will see how much shareholder value they can deliver now, hopefully beginning with ASX.

You need to speculate on whether you think they will or not and as I said act accordingly. No one is ever trapped if they are able to sell or buy shares in the company, just being indecisive which is a no no as an investor.

Other posters can't give you the answer to above and you shouldn't be looking for that here. Take each posters specialisms and opinions you trust and value to inform your own at most, but YOU are the primary decision maker.

If you feel no jam tomorrow then why not realise your losses and move on? Fundementals are one factor, sentiment and macro are others, consider everything and don't assume one factor will spell cast iron success. It's certainly been my biggest learning point here.

@Loftmokey57 - Just a dose of reality back at you...

One RNS is about aligning debt funding to the current delays caused by Newmont bid.

The second is a huge development but on a longer timeframe for actual realisation of any rewards - it is potential (decide for yourself how much or little dependent on existing data etc.)

We need the DFS/DTM most in short term into production IMO and hopefully the ASX will also kickoff a rerate with mandated insto's at the very least helping to gain much needed SP momentum.

I stated my opinion this morning not to obsess on the SP around these developments this week as feel it is the factors above that will matter most into mid 2024 which is short term in regards to this sector.

Things definitely haven't worked out as we wanted with SP last 2 years or so but we always own our own strategy around what we do with our own investments. Now if we go into production with a tepid rerate but the sector and market conditions are not challenging at that time - then perhaps questions will need to be asked.

But we won't know until we get there or you speculate now on outcome and take appropriate action.

For sure mate, plenty of growth optionality taking shape inside and outside the Paterson on top of being a producer in 12 months 😁

As well as the strategical importance of the location and vicinity this ground is in, Shaun and team are also as promised building a reputation as deep cover experts to the extent of taking the lead in a joint venture with a major.

Not everything is short term, goals and objectives are set for mid to long term and take time to progress and achieve.

Also for those planning to hold into production, what the SP does over the next few days is less important that the next few months so not worth arguing or obsessing over with more disruptive posters :-)

Tymers, are you honestly saying the catalogue of information and research in the GGPChat forum is of no use to others and the excellent interviews with Liam and Shaun, the amount of collaboration has been unprecedented and won't ever be matched and some of you now driving that away...

Why do some of you think everyone sharing stuff is a manipulator? The world is still full of kind and helpful people who care about others and aren't ruled by paranoia and fear... and ultimately I bet you use that worldview to justify screwing other people over. Get them before they get you.

@Toffers , why don't you come along to a shareholder meet and meet the real people behind the profiles as such and test these preconceptions. I've met plenty of other PI's now and I know exactly who many are as many do with me and we're all normal folk with normal lives and not a single one I didn't find very very pleasant company, not a single person.

ALSO everyone stop blaming Liam for TG if you don't like it or have an issue. It's now run by a committee of 8 of us all with purposefully varying opinions on everything from investing to how we mod and decisions on bans and the rules are collectively worked on and agreed. Liam is accountable too as is every single person for what they post or do in that group and he can also be muted as can each of us if we misbehave by the others.

@FredDobbs - you accuse others of being childish and well we all certainly have our moments including me and I also enjoy banter in general so that's just me I guess... but you do tend to throw around a lot of zingers yourself. And I've posted plenty of very useful content since early 2020 when I started posting here to make up for my less ideal behaviour at times at least.

Why don't you try providing more to the board than critique on others opinions and analysis and the company strategy by posting something more useful including some idea of what Shaun should be doing in your opinion? Plenty of criticism but you got any ideas and based on what experience. You can criticise many of us but it's also clear we have strong areas of expertise we lend to our analysis.

You just come across like a crybaby whinger most of the time with no accountability for your own investment decisions and very little knowledge shown in any area to be given any weight to your arguments or critique, we have all had plenty of time to sell or not average down or trade since the peak.

Tymers, suggest you read the second to last post I made last night ... invaluable research linked to fundamentals from likes of those posters and why so many of us hold deep respect for them and STILL do ❤️

The ability to get ahead and understand the potential in Havieron at the early stage we did was amazing and due to many of those posters.

Investment decisions are a combination of assessing various aspects and accountability and responsibility is only ever our own.

You seem to be throwing some accusations out here that your previous posting on here and other boards has very much been guilty of, a bit of self awareness wouldn't hurt!
