The only price determination since i.e. made following the 5% Option Exercise was heavily compromised and not a pure Valmin Valuation exercise - plenty of breakdown on the site in regards to this and other methods.

Might want to redo a new video after using resources from site below so you can understand the business and geo aspects you seem less clued up on in regards to the general sector as well as this particular project. I don't assume a shorter would have overestimated the infrastructure progress so much so perhaps unfair to suggest you are and you seem to recognise the potential for a production and sector rerate. It won't be retail that drives the next phase of growth here but formal DTM and Insto's in all likelihood now in H2 of 2023.

As for Newmont, they'll no doubt begin deciding what will entail a core asset or not during Due Diligence and simply provides 3 likely scenarios of either continuance of JV to ensure Telfer continues operation post 2024, a bid for GGP's 30% of Havieron or perhaps placing Havieron and no doubt Telfer up for sale as both no seem intrinsically linked.

Most unlikely is putting Havieron on hold after so much expenditure and all that pre DFS/DTM and the decommissioning / caretaking costs for Telfer - at this stage it surely wouldn't make fiscal sense after such a huge acquisition where Newmont will be under pressure to display ROI ASAP to it's shareholders, which they have clarified in a previous earnings call entails them moving quickly (within 12 months perhaps as post GoldCorp acquisition) to offload what they'll categorise as non-core assets to keep the portfolio from their perspective streamlined.

You need to research the growth potential too through bulk mining methods and increasingly with optionality for selective mining too as they drill the various zonations of the ore body and build new findings that might be making them rework the mining plan coming up perhaps as more drilling takes place. Have you even been through the compelling AISC and OPVM numbers to understand how that all feeds into the assumed production profiles at this juncture and perhaps considered the growth prospects through Wyloo as a partner in more inorganic scenarios?

I'm not too fussed about the other Paterson or Ernest Giles tenements analysis you made TBH, early days and GGP too needs more drill data and analysis in 2023/24 to define what might be there or not. Do yourself a favour and go through the info. on the site, you'll learn how to appraise other mining companies far better in general.
